Fits SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro wireless headset, replaces OEM battery 82-2-7136898.
3.7V, 700mAh lithium-ion cell restores full wireless range and call duration on the Nova Pro.
Connector seats flush into the battery slot behind the ear cup; locking tab engages on insertion.
We bench-tested this cell in the Nova Pro charging cradle; BMS handshake completed on first cycle without fault codes.
On first use, charge the headset in the base station for one full cycle before taking calls — the base needs to register the new cell before talk-time estimates stabilize.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (82-2-7136898)

This is a 3.7V, 700mAh Li-ion cell that replaces the original battery in the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro wireless headset (model 61527). It restores wireless audio functionality when the factory cell has degraded or stopped holding charge. Voltage and capacity match the OEM spec exactly.

  • Arctis Nova Pro and 61527 compatibility: Both model references share the same 3.7V power rail, physical footprint (40.00 × 31.10 × 5.90mm), and BMS handshake protocol — the base station communicates charge state through the same connector on each variant.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through the Arctis Nova Pro base station charge cycle and confirmed the BMS handshake completed correctly — the station accepted the pack, reported charge progress accurately, and released to active use without error flags.
  • Base station initialisation on first install: Seat the headset in the base station and let it complete one full uninterrupted charge cycle before using it. The base station logs the new cell during this cycle — skipping it causes the talk-time indicator to read inaccurately until the handshake finalises.

Base station showing a charging error after fitting a new pack

The Arctis Nova Pro base station uses a BMS handshake to verify the connected cell before beginning a charge cycle. If the new battery arrives at storage voltage — typically around 3.6V — the base may flag an error rather than start charging. Remove the headset from the base, wait 10 seconds, then reseat it firmly. A clean reseat resets the handshake sequence and the base station will usually begin charging on the second attempt.

Headset cutting out mid-call even with a battery showing charge

The Arctis Nova Pro draws current simultaneously from the audio codec and the 2.4GHz wireless radio — combined draw peaks during active calls, not idle playback. If the cell voltage sags below the BMS cutoff threshold under that combined load, the headset powers off even when the indicator shows remaining charge. This is most common in the first few cycles before the cell reaches full capacity. Charge the headset fully and complete three to five full discharge-and-charge cycles — peak load voltage should stabilise above the 3.2V cutoff threshold after conditioning.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Arctis Nova Pro base station shows full charge but the headset shuts off after a few minutes — what's happening?

The new cell likely arrived at storage voltage, around 3.6V, which the base station reports as "charged" before the BMS has completed a proper cycle. The headset then hits the low-voltage cutoff almost immediately under real load. Seat the headset in the base, let it run a full uninterrupted charge from flat to full, and the cutoff issue will clear — the talk-time estimate also becomes accurate after that first complete cycle.

Talk time on the new battery is noticeably shorter than the original was when new — is the replacement cell faulty?

Li-ion cells ship at partial charge and need several cycles before reaching rated capacity. On the Arctis Nova Pro, the combined draw from the wireless radio and audio hardware means the gap is noticeable in the first few uses. Run three to five full charge-and-discharge cycles through normal headset use — capacity increases measurably across those cycles and should reach the 700mAh rated figure by cycle five.

The headset gets warm near the battery compartment during long calls — is that normal with the replacement cell?

Sustained combined draw from the DECT radio and audio codec generates heat in the small housing, and some warmth is expected. It becomes a concern if the headset is hot to the touch or if the base station stops charging mid-cycle — that indicates the cell temperature is tripping the BMS thermal cutoff. Let the headset cool for 15 minutes at room temperature before reseating in the base, and avoid using it on the charger during long sessions if the housing feels hot.
