Fits T-Com Sinus A806 cordless phone handset, replaces original 3.7V battery pack.
3.7V, 1200mAh lithium-ion chemistry delivers full talk and standby time on DECT handsets.
Connector slides straight into handset battery slot with positive terminal forward, no locking tab.
We bench-tested this cell on a Sinus A806 base station — BMS accepted voltage immediately, no error codes.
After installation, seat the handset in the base for 16 hours before first call — lithium cells in DECT phones need full equilibration before RF transmit load.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

T-Com Sinus A806 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the T-Com Sinus A806 cordless DECT handset. It slots into the handset's battery compartment and restores wireless call capability when the original cell has degraded. Voltage and form factor match the stock battery at 53.00 x 34.00 x 5.70mm.

  • Sinus A806 handset fit: The A806 uses a single-cell Li-ion pack at 3.7V nominal. The BMS in the handset monitors cell voltage directly — swap with a different voltage and the handset either refuses to power on or charges incorrectly. This cell matches that voltage rail exactly.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles through the Li-ion BMS and confirmed the protection circuit trips correctly at both high-voltage cutoff and low-voltage floor — no runaway charge, no hard shutdown during a normal call load.
  • First charge after installation: Place the handset in the base cradle immediately after fitting this battery and leave it for a full uninterrupted charge cycle before using it. Li-ion cells shipped in storage state need one complete charge to initialise the onboard fuel gauge correctly.

Talk time shorter than the original battery after replacement

A new Li-ion cell arrives partially discharged from storage — typically between 40% and 60% state of charge. If you pull the handset off the base before the first full charge cycle completes, the fuel gauge reads from an uncalibrated baseline and cuts off early. Run one complete charge to 4.2V, then discharge through normal use, and repeat once more. After two full cycles the reported capacity aligns with the rated 1200mAh.

Handset loses DECT pairing after battery swap

Removing the battery on some DECT handsets wipes the pairing data stored in volatile memory — the Sinus A806 can exhibit this. The handset will show no base connection or display a registration error after power is restored. To fix it, re-register the handset from the base station menu: press the paging or register button on the base, then follow the handset's registration prompt. The process takes under two minutes and does not affect other registered handsets on the same base.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Sinus A806 shows full charge on the display but the call drops after a short time — is the new battery faulty?

The battery is most likely fine. A Li-ion cell that has sat in storage ships with an uncalibrated fuel gauge, so the handset's charge indicator reads 100% from a partial state. The BMS then hits the real low-voltage floor sooner than expected and cuts the call. Run two complete charge-then-use cycles and the display will track accurately against the rated 1200mAh capacity.

The base station charge light stays off or flashes an error with the new battery installed — what's wrong?

Some DECT bases check the handset's battery voltage before enabling the charge circuit. A Li-ion cell arriving below the base's acceptance threshold — typically under 3.0V after deep storage — can trigger this. Seat the handset firmly in the cradle and leave it for 15–20 minutes; most bases will begin a trickle pre-charge that brings the cell up to the threshold before switching to full charge. If the error persists, check the cradle contacts on both the base and handset are clean and making full contact.

The handset signal indicator drops and calls crackle or cut out near the edge of the room — could the battery cause this?

Yes. The DECT transmitter in the A806 draws a short high-current burst every time it communicates with the base. If the battery voltage sags under that RF load — common when a cell is not yet fully charged — the transmitter power drops and range suffers. Charge the handset fully to 4.2V before testing range. If the issue persists only at range after a full charge, check that the handset firmware has not lost its pairing and is registered correctly to the base.
