Fits T-Mobile Blade smartphone; replaces OEM part Li3712T42P3h444865 and Li3713T42P3h444865.
3.7V and 1300mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 4.81Wh to power the Blade's modem, screen, and processor.
Connector slides into the original battery slot with flat contact orientation; no locking tab required.
We bench-tested this cell in the Blade platform; the BMS accepted the pack on first insertion without fault codes.
On first full charge cycle after installation, disable fast charging — this allows the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before USB-PD current pushes into an uncalibrated coulomb counter.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

T-Mobile Blade — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (Li3712T42P3h444865)

This is a 3.7V, 1300mAh (4.81Wh) lithium-ion cell for the T-Mobile Blade smartphone. It replaces OEM part numbers Li3712T42P3h444865 and Li3713T42P3h444865. If your Blade is shutting down unexpectedly or no longer holding a charge, this is the direct cell swap.

  • T-Mobile Blade compatibility: Both Li3712T42P3h444865 and Li3713T42P3h444865 share the same 3.7V rail, connector pinout, and physical footprint — 43.50 × 47.00 × 6.10mm. Either OEM part number installs without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the Blade platform. The BMS handshook correctly, charge termination triggered at 4.2V, and no overcurrent trips occurred during screen-on and modem load testing.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge reset: After installing this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge down to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% uninterrupted. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before it resumes high-current charging cycles.

Why the T-Mobile Blade reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The Blade's fuel gauge IC stores a charge curve learned from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC still references the old curve, so the percentage readout drifts — often showing full charge while the actual cell voltage is lower. This causes the phone to report 30% and then shut off without warning. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a complete uninterrupted charge forces the coulomb counter to re-anchor to the new cell's actual capacity. After that cycle, percentage accuracy normalises.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity problem. Under combined modem radio and display load, the cell voltage drops sharply below what the protection circuit allows — even when the reported percentage still looks safe. Fresh lithium-ion cells can show this on early cycles before the internal resistance stabilises. Run two or three full discharge-charge cycles without heavy simultaneous use, and check that cell voltage under load stays above 3.4V at the point of shutdown.

Frequently Asked Questions

My T-Mobile Blade powers on but shuts off suddenly when I'm on a call or the screen is bright — why?

This is a voltage sag failure. Combined modem transmit and display load pulls enough current to drop cell voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold, even when the percentage gauge still reads 20–30%. A fresh lithium-ion cell's internal resistance is slightly higher in the first few cycles, making it more prone to this. Run three full discharge-charge cycles under normal use and the shutdowns should stop as internal resistance stabilises.

The T-Mobile Blade won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage — how do I recover it?

If the cell discharged below approximately 2.5V during storage, the BMS enters lockout to prevent damage and the phone will not respond to a power button press. Connect the Blade to a wall charger — not a computer USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without touching it. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage rises above the BMS recovery threshold, at which point the phone will boot normally.

Fast charging stopped working after I installed the replacement battery — what's wrong?

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the Blade's charge controller may not negotiate the fast-charge protocol with the new BMS, defaulting to standard 5V charging instead. Disconnect the charger, power the phone off completely, then reconnect. If fast charging still does not resume, complete one full standard charge to 100%, power cycle the device, and reconnect the fast charger — protocol negotiation typically completes correctly on the second cycle.
