Fits Beeline E400 smartphone; replaces original 3.7V lithium-ion cell.
3.7V at 1300mAh delivers 4.81Wh — sufficient for full daily use on the E400.
Connector and locking tab match OEM design; installs flush without modification or adapter.
We bench-tested this cell in the E400 charge circuit; BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion without fault codes.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-to-shutdown cycle without fast charging enabled — this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Beeline E400 — 3.7V Li-ion 1300mAh Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1300mAh Li-ion cell replacement for the Beeline E400 smartphone. It slots into the E400's battery bay and reconnects to the same charge circuit the original cell used. Capacity is rated at 4.81Wh — matching the stock specification.

  • E400 platform fit: The E400 runs a single-cell 3.7V Li-ion architecture. The charge IC expects a cell within a tight voltage window — swapping outside that range triggers a protection fault. This cell stays within that window through full charge and discharge cycles.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a monitored rig. The BMS accepted charge without triggering overcurrent cutoff, and cell voltage held steady under simulated screen and modem load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard current. This gives the E400's fuel gauge IC a clean discharge curve to map the new cell against — before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Why the E400 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The E400 uses a fuel gauge IC that stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC is still referencing the old curve — so the percentage reading drifts immediately. The fuel gauge needs one full discharge and recharge at standard current to rewrite that curve against the new cell's actual voltage profile. Until that cycle completes, percentage jumps and early shutdowns are normal, not a sign of a faulty battery.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops below the modem or display's minimum rail voltage under load, even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. A new cell with an uncalibrated IC cannot accurately predict that voltage cliff. The fix is to complete the first full recalibration cycle — discharge until the phone powers off on its own, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that cycle, the IC maps the real cutoff point and shutdowns at 20–30% stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Beeline E400 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

The cell likely discharged below 2.5V in storage, triggering a BMS lockout that blocks normal power-on. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a computer USB port — and leave it for at least 30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC needs time to trickle current into a deeply discharged cell before the BMS releases the lockout. If the charging LED or screen doesn't respond after 30 minutes, try a different cable and confirm the charger outputs at least 5V 1A.

Fast charging stopped working on my E400 the day I put in the new battery — it was fine before.

The E400's charge IC negotiates fast-charge protocol with the BMS on the first cycle. A new BMS sometimes doesn't complete that handshake on the first charge, so the phone falls back to standard 5V charging. Run one full charge at standard current until the phone reads 100%, then disconnect and reconnect the charger — most units accept the fast-charge handshake correctly from the second cycle onward.

The E400 feels warm near the battery while charging with the new cell — is that normal?

A new Li-ion cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC pushes slightly more heat into it during the first few cycles. Mild warmth — not hot to the touch — is expected and drops off after three to five charge cycles as the cell's impedance settles. If the phone becomes uncomfortably hot or the charging LED flashes, disconnect immediately and check that the battery connector is fully seated at 3.7V.
