Fits TeXet TD-D109 smartphone and replaces OEM battery part number B111.
3.7V, 900mAh lithium-ion cell restores full call and standby runtime on this device.
Connector seats into the standard TD-D109 battery slot with no modifications required.
We bench-tested this cell in the TD-D109 housing; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with stable voltage delivery under GSM load.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

TeXet TD-D109 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (B111)

This is a 3.7V, 900mAh Li-ion cell built to fit the TeXet TD-D109 and related handsets including the TM-B111, TM-B210, and TM-B310. It replaces the original B111 battery when the existing cell has degraded, swells, or no longer holds a usable charge. Voltage and capacity match the OEM specification exactly.

  • TD-D109 and TM-B series compatibility: These models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail. The BMS handshake is consistent across the series, so the same cell fits without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the TD-D109 platform. The BMS accepted the cell on first insertion, reported charge state correctly after one full cycle, and thermal output during charging stayed within normal range for a 900mAh cell.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: After fitting this replacement, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. The phone's fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one full cycle at low current lets it recalibrate before high-current charging begins.

Why the TD-D109 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC in the TD-D109 tracks battery state using a coulomb counter anchored to the previous cell's discharge curve. When you swap in a new cell, that reference is stale. The phone may show 100% immediately after installation or drop percentage faster than expected in the first few sessions. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard current resets the coulomb counter baseline. After that cycle, percentage readings stabilise.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% charge remaining

This happens when the cell voltage drops below the modem or screen load threshold before the displayed percentage reaches zero — a voltage cliff rather than a true empty state. It is common on a fresh cell before the fuel gauge has a calibrated discharge curve, and also appears on cells that have degraded past ~70% of original capacity. Run one full discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without interruption. If shutdowns continue past two full cycles, check that the resting voltage after a full charge reads at least 4.1V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My TeXet TD-D109 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?

The BMS locks out the cell when voltage drops below roughly 2.5V during storage, which cuts all output to protect the cell from permanent damage. Plug the phone into a charger and leave it connected for at least 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on — the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell before the BMS re-enables normal operation. If the charge LED does not activate within five minutes of connecting, disconnect and reconnect to trigger a fresh BMS initialisation. Once the cell reads above 3.0V, the phone should boot normally.

The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery compartment while charging the new B111 cell — is that normal?

A new high-impedance cell draws charge current less efficiently in the first few cycles, which generates slightly more heat at the charge IC than a fully conditioned cell. This is expected behaviour on cycle one and two and typically reduces after the cell has been fully charged and discharged twice. If the device becomes hot to the touch rather than just warm, or if warmth continues past the third charge cycle, stop charging and check that the charger output matches the phone's rated input — overvoltage from an incompatible adapter will sustain elevated temperatures regardless of cell condition.

Fast charging stopped working after I fitted the replacement — the phone only slow-charges now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, some proprietary charge protocols are not accepted by the new BMS until the fuel gauge IC has completed one full baseline cycle. Charge the phone fully at standard rate, discharge it normally to automatic shutdown, then charge again — fast charging typically re-enables on the second or third cycle once the BMS and fuel gauge are in sync. If fast charging still does not activate after three full cycles, confirm the charger and cable both support the TD-D109's charge protocol, as a cable with insufficient data-line continuity will prevent protocol negotiation entirely.
