Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

TOTAL TVCRR30201 — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (INR18650-3S1P)
This is an 11.1V, 2600mAh Li-ion battery pack for the TOTAL TVCRR30201 cordless vacuum. It uses a three-cell series configuration (3S1P) matching the voltage rail and connector of the original pack. Fit the replacement and the vacuum's motor runs at the correct operating voltage from the first charge cycle.
- TVCRR30201 platform fit: The TVCRR30201 motor controller expects an 11.1V nominal input from a 3S Li-ion pack. This battery matches that voltage rail and the original BMS communication profile, so the vacuum powers on and charges without triggering fault codes.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack under sustained motor load and verified the BMS held voltage within the expected discharge curve. Cutoff triggered correctly at the low-cell threshold — no premature shutdowns and no runaway discharge observed.
- Dock charging on the TVCRR30201: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the dock permanently. The TVCRR30201 charger does not drop to a true maintenance rate once the pack is full — continuous dock connection degrades cell capacity faster than normal cycling. Charge to full, then remove the unit from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator shows low
The TVCRR30201 motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked or the dustbin is full. Under that restricted load, cell voltage sags early and the BMS reads it as a low-charge condition even though the pack has capacity left. The motor slows, suction drops, but the LED indicator hasn't reached the low bar yet. Clean the filter and empty the bin first — if suction recovers immediately, the battery is not the cause.
Motor cuts out briefly then restarts on its own
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a flat battery. When the vacuum's airpath is restricted — blocked nozzle, clogged filter, or full bin — the motor strains and draws current above the BMS protection threshold. The BMS cuts the pack to protect the cells, then resets once current demand drops. Clear the blockage, check the filter, and restart. If the cutout repeats on a clean filter with a new battery, the motor itself is drawing excessive current and needs inspection.

Frequently Asked Questions
My TOTAL TVCRR30201 used to run much longer before needing a charge — the new battery is fine but it still feels short. What causes that?
A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, burning through the pack faster even though the battery is not at fault. Remove the filter, clean it thoroughly, and check the nozzle and bin for restrictions. Run the vacuum again after cleaning — if runtime improves, the filter was the cause. If it does not, verify the charger is reaching a full-charge cutoff voltage of around 12.6V at the pack terminals.
The TVCRR30201 won't charge after I fitted the replacement battery — the indicator just blinks and stops.
The charger checks for a BMS handshake before it starts a charge cycle. If the replacement pack's BMS doesn't respond within the expected window, the charger aborts and shows a blink fault. Disconnect the battery, wait 30 seconds, and reconnect — this resets the BMS initialisation sequence. If the blink fault repeats, confirm the pack voltage at the terminals with a multimeter: a reading below 9V means the cells are too deeply discharged for the charger to start, and the pack needs a slow pre-charge recovery before normal charging can begin.
I left my TOTAL TVCRR30201 on the dock for several weeks while it wasn't being used — now the battery drains noticeably faster. Did the battery fail?
Continuous dock connection on the TVCRR30201 exposes the cells to sustained trickle current after they reach full charge, which accelerates capacity fade in Li-ion cells over weeks. The battery hasn't failed outright — it has lost measurable capacity from the prolonged float charge. Run it through three full discharge and charge cycles away from the dock to recondition the pack. Going forward, charge to full and remove the unit from the dock rather than storing it docked.
