Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

TP-Link Neffos C7 Dual SIM — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (NBL-35B3000)
This is a 3.85V, 2900mAh (11.17Wh) Li-Polymer replacement battery for the TP-Link Neffos C7 Dual SIM smartphone. It fits the Neffos C7 Dual SIM, Neffos C7 Dual SIM LTE AM, TP910C, and TP910A. It replaces OEM part number NBL-35B3000 directly.
- Neffos C7 / TP910 platform fit: The TP910C and TP910A share the same battery bay dimensions, connector orientation, and BMS handshake protocol as the standard C7 Dual SIM variants. One cell covers all four models — no adapter or wiring change needed.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the TP910 platform. The BMS accepted charge handshake on first connect, held voltage under simultaneous LTE and display load, and tripped protection correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
- Fuel gauge recalibration after installation: On first use after fitting this cell, disable fast charging and complete one full discharge-to-charge cycle at standard current. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before the charge IC starts pushing higher current into an uncalibrated cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Neffos C7 after a cell swap
The Neffos C7 uses a coulomb-counter fuel gauge IC that was calibrated against the original cell's discharge curve. A new cell with a slightly different internal resistance profile hits a voltage cliff under combined modem and display load that the fuel gauge does not anticipate. The phone cuts power before the reported percentage reaches zero. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard current retrains the counter against the new cell's actual voltage-versus-capacity curve. After that cycle, shutdowns at 20–30% stop.
Phone shows incorrect or jumping battery percentage after replacement
When the original battery degrades significantly before replacement, the fuel gauge IC anchors its full-charge and empty reference points to that degraded cell. Fitting a fresh 2900mAh cell gives the gauge a mismatch it cannot resolve until it sees a complete discharge-to-zero followed by a full charge to 100%. Until that cycle completes, the reported percentage jumps erratically or reads high while the phone still shuts down early. Drain the phone to automatic power-off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% at the standard 5V charge rate to reset the reference points.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Neffos C7 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?
It is not dead — it is in BMS lockout. Li-Polymer cells that self-discharge below approximately 2.5V per cell trigger the protection circuit, which blocks all current flow to prevent damage. Connect the phone to a 5V wall charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing the power button; the charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold before normal charging resumes. If the charge indicator appears within that window, the cell is recovering normally.
Fast charging stopped working on the Neffos C7 after I fitted this battery — the phone only charges slowly now.
The USB-PD or proprietary fast-charge handshake between the phone's charge IC and the battery BMS does not always complete on the very first charge cycle with a new cell. The charge IC defaults to standard current as a safe fallback. Fully discharge the phone to automatic power-off, then charge it from zero using the original TP-Link wall adapter. On the second cycle, the charge IC re-runs the handshake against the now-initialised BMS and fast charging resumes at the correct current rate.
The Neffos C7 feels warm near the battery during the first few charges after replacement — is something wrong?
A new high-impedance Li-Polymer cell has slightly higher internal resistance than a broken-in cell, so more energy converts to heat during the first few charge cycles. This is normal and the warmth drops off after three to five full cycles as the cell's internal resistance settles. If the phone becomes hot to the touch rather than warm, or if charging stops and a temperature warning appears, disconnect and let it cool to room temperature before restarting the charge. After the break-in cycles, charge the phone at standard 5V current and check that the case temperature returns to normal.
