Fits Uniross CP76 cordless phone handsets and restores charge capacity in DECT base stations that no longer accept degraded original batteries.
3.7V 600mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full talk and standby time without voltage sag under transmit load.
Connector slides vertically into the handset battery slot with a single locking tab — orientation is marked on the housing.
We bench-tested this cell in a Uniross DECT base charger; BMS accepted charge within two minutes and held voltage stable across a full discharge cycle.
After installing, seat the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — lithium cells in cordless platforms require slow initial charge to stabilize the BMS handshake.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Uniross CP76 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V 600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for Uniross cordless DECT phones using the CP76 cell. It replaces an original battery that no longer holds a charge and restores normal handset operation. Fit compatibility is based on the CP76 part number — confirm this matches your handset's existing battery label before ordering.

  • CP76 form factor: DECT handsets using this cell share a common 3.7V single-cell Li-ion rail with a fixed connector pinout. The BMS in these handsets communicates charge state directly through that connector, so the replacement cell must match voltage exactly — a mismatch trips the charge controller.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a cordless phone platform. The BMS accepted charge from the base station without fault, and the protection circuit responded correctly to low-voltage cutoff at the expected threshold.
  • First charge after installation: Place the handset in its base immediately after fitting this battery and leave it for a full charge cycle before using the handset. Li-ion cells shipped in storage state need one complete charge before the fuel gauge in the handset reads capacity accurately.

Talk time shorter than original battery after replacement

A new Li-ion cell arrives partially discharged from storage — typically at 30–50% state of charge. The handset's fuel gauge calibrates against that starting point, so it underestimates remaining capacity until a full charge-discharge cycle resets the reference. This is not a fault with the cell. Run two or three full cycles — charge to 100%, use until the handset signals low battery — and the gauge will stabilise against the actual 600mAh capacity.

Base station not charging after battery swap

Some DECT base stations use a voltage threshold check at the start of a charge cycle — if the incoming cell is below roughly 2.5V from deep storage, the base interprets it as a fault and refuses to begin charging. Remove the handset, hold the battery in a warm room for ten minutes, then reseat it in the base. If the base still shows no charge activity, use a standalone Li-ion charger set to 3.7V to bring the cell above 3.0V first, then return it to the base.

Frequently Asked Questions

My handset lost its pairing with the base after I swapped the battery — how do I get it back?

Removing the battery cuts all power to the handset, and some DECT phones store pairing data in volatile memory that clears when power is lost. This is a handset firmware behaviour, not a battery fault. Re-register the handset using the base station's paging or registration button — the process typically takes under 60 seconds and is covered in the handset manual under "Add Handset" or "Register Handset."

The handset drains completely overnight even when it's sitting in the base — what's happening?

This points to a seating issue, not a battery fault. If the handset contacts are not fully aligned with the base cradle contacts, the base station never detects the handset and never initiates charge — the cell slowly discharges through standby draw. Remove the handset, clean the gold charge contacts on both the handset and cradle with a dry cloth, reseat firmly, and confirm the base LED switches to its "charging" state within a few seconds of docking.

The handset cuts out or drops calls when I move to the far end of the house — range is worse than before the swap.

DECT transmit circuitry draws a short high-current burst when the handset is at the edge of range and boosting signal. If the replacement battery's voltage sags under that RF load — common in the first few cycles before the cell is fully conditioned — the handset's power management drops transmit power to protect the circuit. Run two full charge-discharge cycles to let the cell reach its rated 600mAh capacity, then retest range. If sag persists, measure resting voltage after a full charge — it should read at or above 4.1V.
