Vax ONEPWR SpotlessGo Cordless — 20V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BH15030)

This 20V Li-ion battery delivers 2000mAh (40Wh) of capacity for the Vax ONEPWR SpotlessGo Cordless spot cleaner. It fits the ONEPWR SpotlessGo Cordless and replaces OEM part numbers BH15030 and BH25040. Swap it in when the original cell can no longer hold enough charge to complete a cleaning cycle.

• ONEPWR SpotlessGo Cordless platform: The SpotlessGo Cordless uses a 20V ONEPWR cell with a proprietary BMS handshake. Both BH15030 and BH25040 share this voltage rail and connector configuration, which is why one replacement covers both part numbers.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the SpotlessGo Cordless platform. The BMS negotiated correctly — no fault codes, no premature cutoff under normal suction load.
• Dock charging discipline for the SpotlessGo Cordless: The SpotlessGo Cordless charging dock does not cut power once the cell hits 100%. Leaving it docked between every use pushes trickle current through the cells continuously. Charge to full, then remove the battery from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the SpotlessGo Cordless

When the SpotlessGo Cordless motor is working against a partial blockage or a clogged filter, current draw spikes above the rated load. The BMS reads this as a voltage sag event and begins throttling output to protect the cells — even if the charge indicator still shows two or three bars. The result is noticeably weaker suction well before the battery is actually depleted. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest suction before assuming the battery is at fault.

Motor cuts out mid-use then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failing battery. When suction is sustained against a restriction — a wet patch of carpet or a partially blocked nozzle — current draw exceeds the BMS threshold and it cuts power to the motor. The BMS resets itself after a short thermal pause, which is why the machine restarts without any user input. Check the nozzle and filter for blockages, clear them, and the trip threshold will stop being exceeded under normal use.
