This is a BMS overcurrent trip. Sustained restricted airflow — blocked filter, full dust cup, or a jammed brush roll — causes the motor to spike current beyond what the protection circuit allows. Clear the blockage, check the dust cup is empty, and spin the brush roll by hand to confirm it moves freely before restarting. If the cutout returns on a clean machine, check that the charger brought the pack to a full 14.4V before use.
