Fits Veluce Vivo cordless vacuum cleaners and replaces original 14.4V Ni-MH packs.
14.4V and 2000mAh capacity delivers full motor power for sustained suction on carpet and bare floors.
Battery slides into the vacuum handle slot with a single locking tab — no tools needed.
We bench-tested this cell under sustained motor draw on a restricted filter; BMS held steady and cut cleanly when suction blockage spiked current.
Do not leave this Ni-MH pack on the charging dock continuously — trickle charge degrades capacity fast, so charge to full and remove it immediately.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Veluce Vivo — 14.4V Ni-MH 2000mAh Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V Ni-MH 2000mAh replacement battery for the Veluce Vivo cordless vacuum cleaner. It replaces the original pack when capacity has dropped and the vacuum no longer holds a useful charge. Dimensions are 179 x 51 x 52mm — confirm these against your existing pack before ordering.

  • Veluce Vivo compatibility: The Vivo runs a 14.4V motor rail with a Ni-MH pack. This replacement matches that voltage and cell chemistry, so the vacuum's charge circuit sees the same internal resistance profile as the original.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on a Ni-MH compatible charger. The cells accepted a full charge without thermal event and the pack delivered stable voltage through the discharge curve.
  • Dock charging on the Vivo: Remove the vacuum from the charging dock once the pack reaches full charge. Leaving a Ni-MH pack on continuous trickle charge accelerates capacity fade faster than normal use. Charge when depleted, then remove.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator shows low on the Vivo

This happens when the filter is partially blocked. A restricted airpath forces the motor to draw more current than rated to maintain suction speed. That extra draw pulls the cell voltage down under load, which the vacuum reads as a low-battery condition even when the pack still holds charge. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery was not the cause.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip. Sustained restricted airflow — blocked filter, full dust cup, or a jammed brush roll — causes the motor to spike current beyond what the protection circuit allows. The BMS disconnects the pack, the motor stops, and the circuit resets after a short cool-down. Clear the blockage, check the dust cup is empty, and spin the brush roll by hand to confirm it moves freely before restarting. If the cutout returns on a clean machine, check that the charger brought the pack to a full 14.4V before use.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Veluce Vivo has noticeably less suction than it used to even with a fresh charge — is the new battery the issue?

Probably not the battery. A partially blocked filter makes the motor draw more current than rated, which pulls cell voltage down under load and kills suction before the pack is actually depleted. Clean the filter thoroughly and empty the dust cup, then test again. If suction recovers, the pack is fine — the restricted airpath was the cause.

The Vivo motor keeps cutting out for a few seconds then restarting on its own — what causes that?

That is the battery's protection circuit tripping on an overcurrent spike. It happens when the motor strains against a blockage — a clogged filter, a jammed brush roll, or an overfull dust cup — and draws more than the BMS allows. The circuit disconnects, the motor stops, then resets after a brief pause. Clear every blockage, spin the brush roll by hand to confirm it turns freely, and the cutouts should stop.

My Veluce Vivo battery fades noticeably after only a few months — what shortens Ni-MH life in cordless vacuums?

Continuous dock charging is the main cause. Ni-MH cells degrade faster under prolonged trickle charge than they do from normal use. Remove the vacuum from the dock as soon as the pack reaches full charge rather than leaving it plugged in between every use. Charge only when the vacuum's suction noticeably drops, and the pack will hold capacity significantly longer.
