Fits Vivo iQOO 7 and V2049A models using OEM part number B-P3 battery.
7.74V at 1950mAh capacity delivers sustained power to processor and display load cycles.
Connector uses a two-pin JST-style socket with notched alignment tab on the pack.
We bench-tested this cell on a V2049A test unit; the BMS accepted charge protocol without fault codes and voltage held steady under 2A discharge pulses.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against this cell's discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vivo IQOO 7 / V2049A — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B-P3)

This is a 1950mAh, 7.74V lithium-polymer cell that replaces the original B-P3 battery in the Vivo IQOO 7 (V2049A). It restores power to the processor, display, modem, and all onboard functions. Fit it when the original cell no longer holds a full charge, swells, or the phone shuts off unexpectedly under load.

  • IQOO 7 and V2049A compatibility: Both model codes refer to the same hardware platform. They share the same battery bay dimensions (87.80 × 62.85 × 5.20mm), the same connector pinout, and the same BMS handshake protocol — so one cell covers both variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the IQOO 7 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without triggering protection cutoff, and the charge IC negotiated normally after the first full cycle.
  • First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and complete one full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Why the IQOO 7 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC builds its percentage readings from a learned discharge curve stored from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches actual cell chemistry or internal resistance. The IC keeps estimating against outdated data until it recalibrates. One complete discharge-to-shutdown followed by a full charge resets the coulomb counter and aligns the gauge to the new cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the modem or display pulls a high-current burst and the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the reported percentage looks safe. On a freshly installed cell, the fuel gauge IC has not yet mapped the low-end voltage cliff for this specific cell's discharge curve. The phone reads 25% but the actual terminal voltage is already near 3.5V per cell under load. Run one complete cycle at standard charge rate first; the IC will then place the low-voltage cutoff point correctly and the shutdowns will stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

My IQOO 7 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?

It is likely a BMS lockout, not a dead cell. If the cell self-discharged below approximately 2.5V per cell during storage, the BMS shuts off all output to prevent damage. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold before normal charging begins. If the charging indicator appears after that window, the cell is recovering normally.

The IQOO 7's fast charging stopped working after I fitted the new battery — it only slow-charges now.

This is normal on the first cycle after a cell swap. The proprietary fast-charge protocol requires the BMS to confirm cell state before the charge IC raises current above standard levels. On a brand-new, uncalibrated cell, the BMS defaults to a conservative charge rate as a protection measure. Complete one full charge cycle at the standard rate, then reconnect with fast charging enabled — the handshake will negotiate correctly once the BMS has logged one complete cycle.

The battery percentage on my IQOO 7 keeps jumping around — it shows 60%, then drops to 41%, then climbs back up without charging.

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating its coulomb counter against the new cell and the estimates are unstable until it has enough data. This is expected in the first few cycles after a replacement. Erratic jumps typically settle after two to three full discharge-charge cycles at standard rate. If the jumping continues beyond three full cycles, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a loose pin causes intermittent voltage readings that prevent the IC from converging on a stable curve.
