Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Wacom CTL4100 / CTL6100WL Series — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (PR-234385G)
This is a 3.8V, 1200mAh lithium-polymer battery for the Wacom CTL4100 and CTL6100WL graphics tablets. It replaces OEM part PR-234385G and restores wireless functionality when the original cell no longer holds charge. Fits CTL4100, CTL6100WL, CTL6100, and CTL-4100/K0-C variants.
- CTL4100 and CTL6100WL battery compatibility: These models share the PR-234385G cell format — same 3.8V rail, same connector, and same BMS handshake protocol. The CTL6100WL adds Bluetooth connectivity but draws from the identical power circuit, so one battery spec covers the full lineup.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through full charge and draw on a CTL6100WL unit. The BMS accepted the new cell without errors, pressure sensitivity registers held across the full 4096-level range, and wireless pairing remained stable throughout the test cycle.
- Re-pair the stylus after fitting a new cell: Some Wacom wireless tablet systems cache the previous battery's power state in firmware. After fitting this replacement, delete the device from your Bluetooth settings and re-pair fresh — this clears the stale state and lets the tablet read the new battery level accurately.
Why the CTL6100WL drops wireless signal during an active drawing session
The CTL6100WL runs its Bluetooth radio and pressure sensor array simultaneously during active use. That combined draw pulls the cell voltage down faster than standby figures suggest. When the battery voltage sags below the radio's minimum threshold, the wireless link drops — even if the tablet still shows charge remaining. A degraded or partially discharged original battery accelerates this. A fresh cell at full 3.8V nominal voltage keeps both subsystems fed without sag-triggered disconnection.
Pressure sensitivity reading as flat or missing after a battery swap
If pressure levels register as all-or-nothing after replacing the battery, the tablet firmware is likely still reading the old battery's power state. The pressure sensor controller calibrates its output range against the voltage reference it first sees on power-up. Reset by powering the tablet fully off, fitting the charged replacement cell, then re-pairing via Bluetooth. Once re-paired, pressure sensitivity should resolve across all 4096 levels at normal operating voltage.

Frequently Asked Questions
My CTL6100WL keeps disconnecting mid-drawing session even though the battery shows charge — what's happening?
The Bluetooth radio on the CTL6100WL requires a stable voltage floor to maintain its wireless link. A degraded battery can show remaining charge on the indicator but still sag below that floor under the combined draw of the radio and pressure sensor array during active use. The connection drops even though the cell isn't technically empty. Fit a fresh PR-234385G cell, re-pair the device, and the sag-triggered cutoffs stop.
Stylus lag is getting worse the longer I draw — pressure strokes are delayed but the tablet is still connected. Is this a battery issue?
Yes — this is a low-voltage throttle. When the battery drops below a certain level, the Bluetooth polling rate reduces automatically to conserve power, which introduces noticeable input lag on pressure strokes. The tablet stays connected but responsiveness degrades. Charge or replace the battery; once voltage returns to the 3.8V nominal range, polling rate restores and the lag disappears.
The battery meter on my CTL4100 jumped from showing plenty of charge to zero with no warning — why?
This is a calibration failure caused by a cell that has lost capacity faster than the firmware's charge model expects. The firmware tracks charge using a stored curve; if the actual cell no longer matches that curve, the reported level is wrong until the voltage drops sharply and the meter catches up. Replace the cell with PR-234385G, then run one full charge cycle to zero before recharging fully — this lets the firmware relearn the discharge curve against the new cell.
