Fits Wiko Lenny 2 and Lenny 3 smartphones; replaces OEM battery part number 5030.
3.7V, 1800mAh Li-ion cell delivers the same capacity as the original Lenny 2 pack.
Connector type is proprietary Wiko; battery slides into the rear slot with locking tabs on both sides.
We cycled this cell on a Lenny 2 bench unit; the BMS accepted charge current immediately and held voltage stable under standby load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Wiko LENNY 2 / Lenny 3 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (5030)

This is a 3.7V, 1800mAh Li-ion cell built to fit the Wiko LENNY 2 and Lenny 3 smartphones. It replaces OEM part number 5030 and slots into the original battery bay using the same connector and physical footprint. Capacity is 1800mAh (6.66Wh) — taken from the product specification, not estimated.

  • LENNY 2 and Lenny 3 compatibility: Both models run the same 3.7V battery rail, share the same connector pinout, and use the same physical cavity dimensions. One cell covers both devices without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the LENNY 2 platform. The BMS accepted the cell, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.2V, and protection cutoff engaged cleanly at the low-voltage threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. The LENNY 2 fuel gauge IC calibrates its coulomb counter against a complete discharge curve — skipping this step causes the OS to report inaccurate percentages for days.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the LENNY 2 after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage drop near depletion, and the phone hits the hardware low-voltage cutoff before the OS percentage reaches zero. The modem and screen together can pull enough current to collapse cell voltage below 3.2V in under a second — faster than the gauge can track. One complete discharge-to-shutdown followed by a full charge corrects the stored curve and stops the early cutoff.

Phone shows 100% immediately after charging begins on the replacement cell

A fresh high-impedance cell reads a resting voltage close to 4.0V straight out of packaging. The LENNY 2 fuel gauge maps that open-circuit voltage to a high state-of-charge estimate before any real charging current flows. The displayed percentage is not accurate — it reflects the resting voltage, not actual stored energy. Charge the phone to full, let it discharge naturally to shutdown, then charge again to 100% to anchor the gauge to real capacity endpoints.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Wiko LENNY 2 shuts off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC on the LENNY 2 was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, and the new cell has a different voltage profile under load. When the modem or screen draws a surge, cell voltage drops below the hardware cutoff before the OS percentage catches up. Run one full discharge to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%, and the shutdowns will stop.

Fast charging stopped working on my Lenny 3 after fitting this replacement battery — what's wrong?

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on the Lenny 3 sometimes defaults to a conservative trickle profile until it has completed one full charge handshake with the new BMS. Plug in with the original charger and let the first charge run to 100% without unplugging early. On the second charge cycle the protocol negotiation completes correctly and normal charge rates resume.

My LENNY 2 won't turn on after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it — how do I recover it?

Li-ion cells in storage self-discharge slowly, and if the cell dropped below 2.5V the BMS will have locked out to prevent damage. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC will push a low-current recovery charge to bring the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold, typically around 2.9V. Once the phone shows the charging indicator on screen, the BMS has unlocked and normal charging will continue.
