Fits Wiko RIDE 3 smartphone; replaces OEM part PT34H406082W.
Voltage 3.8V, capacity 3300mAh — standard output for this phone's modem, display, and processor load.
Connector is a two-pin JST-style plug with flat orientation; locking tab seats into the battery door slot.
We charged the cell on a Wiko proprietary dock and monitored BMS cutoff behavior — fuel gauge accepted the new pack after a full discharge cycle.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Wiko RIDE 3 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (PT34H406082W)

This 3.8V, 3300mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original PT34H406082W battery in the Wiko RIDE 3 smartphone. It restores power to calls, messaging, and apps when the original cell can no longer hold a full-day charge. Capacity figures are taken directly from verified product data — 3300mAh at 12.54Wh.

  • RIDE 3 fitment: The PT34H406082W footprint is specific to this handset — 80.50 x 59.82 x 3.82mm. The connector pinout and BMS handshake match the RIDE 3 charge IC directly. No adapter or modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles on this cell and confirmed the BMS communicates correctly with the RIDE 3's fuel gauge IC. Cell voltage held stable across screen-on and modem-active load states.
  • First-cycle fast charge tip: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes into an uncalibrated cell.

Why the RIDE 3 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The RIDE 3 uses a coulomb counter that builds its reference model from the original cell's charge history. When you install a new cell, that reference model is stale and mismatched. The OS reads a percentage based on the old curve, so it can show 40% when the actual cell state is closer to 20%. One full discharge down to auto-shutoff followed by a complete charge to 100% forces the fuel gauge IC to rebuild its lookup table against the new cell's actual characteristics.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the modem or display pulls a load spike and the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the gauge still reads 20–30%. It is a fuel gauge calibration issue, not a faulty cell. The BMS sees real terminal voltage collapse while the coulomb counter still reports charge remaining. Run one full uninterrupted cycle — discharge to shutoff, charge to 100% without interruption — and the reported percentage will align with actual cell voltage by the next session.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Wiko RIDE 3 keeps shutting off around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell defective?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The RIDE 3's fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it mapped from the old cell, so the percentage on screen does not match the new cell's actual terminal voltage. Under a modem or screen load spike, the BMS trips on real voltage even though the counter says 25% is left. Run one full discharge to auto-shutoff and a complete charge to 100% without unplugging early — the gauge will recalibrate and the shutoffs will stop.

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before installation — how do I recover it?

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below roughly 2.5V the BMS will have entered lockout mode to prevent damage. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it connected for at least 30 minutes before pressing the power button. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage climbs back above the BMS re-enable threshold, at which point the phone will boot normally.

Fast charging stopped working on my RIDE 3 after I swapped the battery — the phone only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after installation, the new BMS has not yet completed its handshake with the RIDE 3's charge IC, and the system defaults to standard 5V charging as a safety fallback. This is normal behaviour. Complete one full slow charge to 100%, then unplug and let the phone discharge to around 20% before plugging back in — the fast charge protocol should re-negotiate correctly on the second cycle.
