This 3.85V, 2900mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original battery in the Wiko View 2, View 2 Pro, C800AE, and W-C800. It matches OEM part numbers S104-Z37000-000, TLE1707, TLP17G26, and 356580H. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds a charge or causes unexpected shutdowns.

  • View 2 and View 2 Pro compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell fits both. No adapter or wiring change needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the View 2 platform. The BMS communicated correctly with the phone's charge IC, and thermal readings stayed within spec across the full cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable fast charging for the first complete discharge-charge cycle after installation. The fuel gauge IC needs one full cycle at standard current to build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before fast charging pushes higher current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the View 2 after a cell swap

The View 2's fuel gauge IC retains the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. When a fresh cell is installed, the IC can still predict an early voltage cliff that no longer exists — but under modem or screen load, if the new cell's actual voltage dips sharply in that range, the phone cuts power to protect the SoC. Run one full discharge to below 5%, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, the coulomb counter resets against the real discharge curve of the new cell, and the shutdowns stop.

USB-PD fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement

On the first charge after installation, the View 2's charge IC may not negotiate fast charging with the new cell's BMS. This happens because the BMS hasn't yet confirmed a full communication handshake with the host IC. Charge once at standard speed using the OEM cable and a 5V/1A adapter. On the second charge, connect the fast charger — the handshake completes correctly and fast charging resumes at the expected rate.

My Wiko View 2 shuts off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The View 2's fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so it misreads the new cell's voltage under modem or display load and triggers a premature cutoff. Let the phone discharge fully to below 5%, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After one complete cycle, the coulomb counter maps the new cell correctly and the shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my View 2 keeps jumping around after the replacement — sometimes it gains 5% without charging.

That's the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against the new cell. The old cell had a compressed discharge curve from degradation; the new 2900mAh cell has a wider, flatter curve the IC hasn't seen before. The jumping settles after one or two full discharge-charge cycles as the IC rebuilds its reference table. Don't top up repeatedly during this period — let the phone run each cycle fully from charge to near-empty.

My View 2 gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges with the replacement cell — is that normal?

A new Li-Polymer cell has slightly higher internal impedance on its first few cycles than a broken-in cell. The charge IC pushes current into that higher-impedance cell, and more energy converts to heat. This is normal and settles within three to five charge cycles as the cell's impedance drops. If the phone stays warm well past the fifth cycle, check that the replacement part number matches S104-Z37000-000 — a mismatched cell with wrong charge profile will run warm indefinitely.
