Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S20 / BHR8629EU — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (P2332-4S1P-SCEV)
This 14.4V 3400mAh (48.96Wh) Li-ion battery pack replaces the OEM unit in the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S20 and BHR8629EU. It fits directly into the D106 platform shared across that model range. Voltage and cell count match the original BMS handshake requirements.
- S20 / D106 platform compatibility: The BHR8629EU and Robot Vacuum S20 share the D106 chassis and a 4S1P cell configuration running a 14.4V nominal rail. This replacement matches that configuration — same cell count, same connector pinout, same BMS communication protocol.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the D106 platform. The BMS accepted the handshake without fault codes, and the protection circuits responded correctly to overcurrent and over-discharge thresholds.
- Dock charging behaviour on the S20: The Xiaomi S20 returns to its dock automatically after each clean. Do not leave the unit docked continuously between uses — the dock maintains a trickle charge that accelerates capacity fade in Li-ion 4S packs. Charge to full, then remove the robot from the dock until its next scheduled run.
Suction dropping mid-clean on the S20 before the battery indicator shows low
The S20's motor draws a surge current when it hits a transition from hard floor to carpet or encounters a partial blockage. If the battery pack has degraded internal resistance, it cannot sustain that surge without voltage sag — the motor controller throttles fan speed before the battery indicator registers low. This is a cell condition issue, not a sensor fault. A fresh pack with low internal resistance holds the voltage rail steady through those transient load spikes.
Robot Vacuum S20 motor cuts out and then recovers during a cleaning cycle
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a motor fault. When the side brush or suction inlet is partially blocked, the fan motor pulls sustained current above the BMS protection threshold — the pack disconnects briefly to protect the cells, then resets. The fix is to clear the brush roll and inlet, then check the filter. A clogged filter forces the motor to work harder on every pass, keeping current draw elevated and triggering repeat trips. Inspect and clean the filter before fitting a replacement battery — if the restriction stays, the new pack will trip on the same cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Xiaomi S20 finishes a clean much sooner than it used to but the battery indicator never shows low — what's happening?
The indicator reads cell voltage, not actual charge capacity. As a Li-ion 4S pack ages, internal resistance rises and voltage sags under motor load — the vacuum's controller cuts power before the indicator catches up. The battery has lost usable capacity even though resting voltage looks normal. Replace the pack and the indicator will track correctly again.
The S20 keeps cutting out mid-run, recovers after 10–15 seconds, then cuts out again — is this the battery or the motor?
That pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip cycling on and off — the pack disconnects to protect cells under high sustained current draw, resets, then trips again if the cause is still there. The most common cause is a partially blocked filter or brush roll forcing the motor to pull above its rated current. Clear the inlet, remove any hair wrap from the brush, and clean the filter before assuming the battery is the fault — a new pack will trip on the same cycle if the restriction stays.
We left the S20 docked for three months without using it and now it won't start a cleaning cycle — can the battery be recovered?
A Li-ion pack that has sat discharged for an extended period may have dropped below the BMS recovery threshold — typically around 2.5V per cell, or roughly 10V across the 4S pack. Some Xiaomi BMS units will refuse to initialise below that floor as a safety measure. Place the robot on the dock for a full uninterrupted charge cycle of at least four hours; if the dock LED does not progress past the fault state, the pack has over-discharged past recovery and needs replacement.
