Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Xiaomi E10 / E10C Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (Z143-4S1P)
This 14.4V 3350mAh (48.24Wh) Li-ion battery pack replaces the Z143-4S1P unit in Xiaomi Mi E10 and E10C cordless stick vacuums. It fits the same battery bay and uses the same BMS communication protocol as the original pack. When the stock battery degrades from repeated charge cycles, suction drops noticeably — this replacement restores full motor voltage.
- E10 and E10C platform fit: Both models run the same 14.4V motor rail with the same Z143-4S1P connector and BMS handshake. One battery covers both. Robot Vacuum E10 and E10C variants share this pack as well.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through motor-start and sustained-suction cycles on the E10 platform. The BMS held voltage under full suction load without tripping overcurrent protection on a clean filter.
- Dock charging habit on the E10: Do not leave the E10 sitting on its charging dock continuously between uses. Xiaomi's dock does not cut trickle current once the pack is full, and this degrades cell capacity faster than standard cycle wear. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator shows low
The E10 motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked. As internal resistance in an aged cell rises, voltage sags under that elevated load before the indicator circuit registers a low-battery condition. The indicator reads state of charge at rest voltage — not under load — so it lags behind what the motor actually receives. Cleaning or replacing the filter reduces motor draw and keeps voltage above the sag threshold longer.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then restarts after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, tangled brush roll, or carpet fibres packed into the intake — the motor stalls briefly and current spikes past the BMS protection threshold. The BMS disconnects output to protect the cells, then resets after a few seconds once current drops. Clear the blockage and check the filter before suspecting the battery. If cutouts continue on a clean filter, measure pack output voltage under load — it should hold above 13.0V during normal operation.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Xiaomi E10 has a new battery but the charger light never turns green — it just stays red or blinks. What's wrong?
The E10 charger reads a handshake signal from the battery BMS before switching charge modes. If the replacement pack sat in storage at low voltage, the BMS may be in undervoltage lockout and won't respond to the charger normally. Connect the battery and leave the charger plugged in for 20–30 minutes — some BMS units need a trickle pre-charge to recover enough voltage to initialise. If pack voltage is below 10V when measured directly at the terminals, the cells are too deeply discharged to recover.
The E10 loses suction hard after a few minutes even though the indicator still shows two or three bars. Is the battery fading?
Likely yes — but check the filter first. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw above its rated current, which causes voltage sag on an aged cell even when state-of-charge looks fine. Clean the filter and run again. If suction still collapses early with a clean filter, the cells have lost capacity and no longer hold voltage under motor load — the indicator reads resting voltage, not load voltage, so it shows bars while the motor is starved. Replace the pack at that point.
We left the E10 on its dock for two months while travelling. Now runtime is noticeably shorter. Did the dock damage the battery?
Yes — continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade on the E10. Xiaomi's dock does not stop current flow once the pack reaches full charge, so the cells absorb low-level charge current for weeks. This causes lithium plating and gradual capacity loss. The new Z143-4S1P pack will restore capacity now, but charge it only when depleted and remove it from the dock once the charger light turns green.
