Fits Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC, replaces OEM part number BN57.
Voltage 3.85V, capacity 4950mAh—matches original output to restore full charge cycles without adapter strain.
Connector and orientation mirror the OEM cell; no modification to slot or locking tab needed.
We ran discharge cycles on the test unit; BMS accepted the cell without fault codes or voltage sag under screen load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle—this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated pack.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BN57)

This is a 3.85V, 4950mAh (19.06Wh) Li-Polymer cell for the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC (M2007J20CG). It replaces OEM part BN57 directly. If your X3 NFC is shutting down early, holding minimal charge, or not turning on after sitting in a drawer, this is the cell to swap.

  • Poco X3 NFC and M2007J20CG fit: Both model designations reference the same hardware platform — same 3.85V rail, same BN57 connector, same BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the X3 NFC platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, and the charge IC engaged fast charge on the second full cycle as expected.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable fast charging for the first complete discharge-charge cycle after installation. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes amps into an uncalibrated coulomb counter — preventing erratic percentage readings from the start.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Poco X3 NFC after a cell swap

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. The X3 NFC's modem and 6.67-inch display draw sharp current spikes. A miscalibrated gauge reads 25% while the actual cell voltage has already dropped to the BMS cutoff threshold — roughly 3.2V — triggering an immediate shutdown. One full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging forces the coulomb counter to remap against the new cell. After that cycle, the reported percentage and actual cell state align.

USB-PD fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement

On the first charge cycle, the X3 NFC's charge IC runs a conditioning pass on the new cell — it defaults to standard 5V charging while it checks internal resistance and confirms BMS handshake. This is normal behaviour, not a fault. Fast charge typically re-engages from the second cycle onward. If it still does not activate after two full cycles, check that the cable and adapter support the phone's charging protocol, as the charge IC will fall back to standard current if the handshake fails at the adapter end.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Poco X3 NFC keeps shutting off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — is something wrong with the cell?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The fuel gauge IC on the X3 NFC is still using the discharge curve it built around the old battery. When the modem or screen pulls a current spike, the real cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold — around 3.2V — even though the gauge still shows 25%. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% with fast charging disabled. That forces the coulomb counter to remap to the new cell curve and the premature shutdowns stop.

The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges after swapping the BN57 — is that safe?

Yes, and it is expected. A new Li-Polymer cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a worn cell that has been conditioned through hundreds of cycles. The charge IC compensates by running a slightly elevated charge current relative to what it was pushing into the degraded old cell — that difference shows up as warmth. It settles after two or three full cycles as the cell's impedance drops. If the phone is hot to the point of discomfort or the charge IC throws a temperature fault in the battery settings, stop charging and check for a poor contact at the connector.

My Poco X3 NFC won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat uninstalled for a few months — how do I recover it?

A Li-Polymer cell left uninstalled will self-discharge. If it drops below roughly 2.5V, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent damage and the phone will not power on. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes without pressing any buttons. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold, which is typically around 3.0V, at which point the phone will boot normally. If there is no response after 45 minutes on a known-good charger, measure the battery connector voltage directly — it should read above 2.5V before the BMS will release.
