Fits Xiaomi Redmi 10X Pro, 10X Pro 5G with OEM part number BM4T.
Delivers 3.85V and 4500mAh capacity, matching the original cell output and charge cycle count.
Connector type is JST-PH with flat locking tab; slides into original battery slot without modification.
We bench tested the BMS on a Redmi 10X Pro charger — fuel gauge IC accepted the new cell after one full discharge-charge cycle without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Xiaomi Redmi 10X Pro Series — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BM4T)

The BM4T is a 3.85V, 4500mAh Li-Polymer cell for the Xiaomi Redmi 10X Pro, 10X Pro 5G, and M2004J7BC. It replaces a degraded original when the phone no longer holds charge or shuts down unexpectedly. Capacity is 4500mAh (17.33Wh), matching the OEM specification.

  • Redmi 10X Pro and 10X Pro 5G compatibility: Both variants use the same BM4T footprint, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The 5G modem draws higher peak current, so the cell must pass the same high-drain BMS negotiation as the LTE version — this unit does.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles on a Redmi 10X Pro unit. The BMS accepted the cell on first connection, charge IC entered CC/CV mode normally, and the coulomb counter began tracking without error flags.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Redmi 10X Pro after a cell swap

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve. The new cell reaches a voltage cliff — where voltage drops steeply under modem or display load — at a different state of charge than the IC expects. The phone interprets a voltage dip below ~3.5V as imminent shutdown and cuts power, even though percentage still shows 20–30%. One full discharge to 0% followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the coulomb counter and resolves this.

USB-PD or Xiaomi fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement

On a fresh cell, the BMS may not complete the handshake required for fast charge protocols on the first cycle. The charge IC defaults to standard 5V input until it receives a valid BMS response confirming cell state. This is normal behaviour — not a fault with the battery or the charger. Complete one full standard-rate charge cycle first, then fast charging activates on subsequent sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Redmi 10X Pro keeps shutting off at around 25% after fitting the BM4T — is something wrong with the cell?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve from the old battery, so it misreads the voltage drop under modem load and triggers a premature cutoff. Run one full discharge to 0% then charge uninterrupted to 100% at standard rate. That resets the coulomb counter and the shutdowns stop.

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat uninstalled for a few months — how do I recover it?

Li-Polymer cells in storage self-discharge slowly, and if the BM4T dropped below approximately 2.5V the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent cell damage. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it clears the lockout threshold. Once voltage climbs above 3.0V the BMS re-initialises and the phone boots normally.

The battery percentage is jumping around erratically — showing 60%, then 45%, then back to 55% within minutes — what's causing that?

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating its internal model against the new cell and hasn't yet built an accurate state-of-charge map. This is most pronounced in the first two or three charge cycles after a cell swap. Erratic readings settle after the coulomb counter accumulates enough data from full cycles. Run two complete discharge-charge cycles at standard rate and the percentage reading stabilises.
