Fits Yard Force Easymow 260 and replaces OEM part numbers 1920763001 and 1920625.
20V nominal, 2600mAh capacity delivers 52Wh — enough for typical residential lawn passes on flat terrain.
Connector slides straight into the mower's battery slot with a spring-loaded retention tab; no adapter needed.
We bench-tested this cell on the Easymow 260 blade motor under load — BMS held steady, voltage regulation clean across the discharge curve.
If the mower cuts out mid-row after 15–20 minutes of thick grass, let the pack cool for 5 minutes before restarting; thermal protection is normal on high-load blade draws.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Yard Force Easymow 260 — 20V Li-ion Replacement Battery (1920763001)

This is a 20V 2600mAh (52Wh) Li-ion battery that replaces OEM part 1920763001 in the Yard Force Easymow 260 cordless push mower. It also fits the MB 400, Mowbest, and Mowbest 805 Compact models that share the same 20V battery platform. If the original pack has lost charge capacity or stopped holding charge entirely, this is the direct replacement.

  • Easymow 260 / MB 400 platform fit: These models share the same 20V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — the same pack works across all listed models without adapters or modifications.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge-discharge cycles on the Easymow 260 platform, confirming the BMS handshake initialised correctly, cell balancing activated on the first charge, and the pack delivered stable voltage under simulated blade-motor load.
  • Seasonal storage tip: Before the first mow of spring, bring the battery indoors overnight if temperatures are below 10°C. Cold Li-ion cells carry higher internal resistance, and the blade motor's inrush current can trip the BMS on a pack that hasn't warmed up to room temperature.

BMS cutoff under thick-grass and wet-grass blade load

The Easymow 260 blade motor pulls significantly more current through dense or wet grass than on a dry, short lawn. When that inrush spike exceeds the BMS current threshold, the pack shuts down as a protection measure — not a battery fault. A new pack may be more sensitive to this until the cells complete their first few conditioning cycles. If cutouts happen consistently in thick sections, slow your mowing pace to reduce sustained motor load and allow the current draw to stay within the BMS window.

Charger won't accept the pack after winter storage

Li-ion cells that self-discharge below approximately 2.5V per cell over a long storage period fall outside the voltage window most chargers will accept for a standard charge cycle. The charger reads the pack as faulty and refuses to initiate. To recover the pack, leave it on the charger for up to 30 minutes — many chargers include a trickle pre-charge mode that will bring cells back above the acceptance threshold before switching to full charge. If the fault light stays on past 30 minutes, check that the charger output voltage reads at least 21V with a multimeter.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Easymow 260 cuts out halfway through a row, then starts again after a minute — is this the battery?

This is thermal protection activating, not a defective pack. The blade motor generates heat under sustained load, and the BMS cuts power when the cell temperature hits its upper limit. It resets once the pack cools. Allow a 5-minute rest between runs in hot weather or dense grass, and check that the battery vents aren't blocked with clippings.

The new battery gets noticeably warmer than my old one during the first few charges — should I be concerned?

Warmth during the first few charge and discharge cycles is normal. New Li-ion cells go through a conditioning process where internal resistance settles and cell chemistry stabilises — this generates slightly more heat than a broken-in pack. After 4 to 5 full cycles, heat levels should match or come in below what the original pack produced. If the pack is hot to the touch — not just warm — stop the charge and check that airflow around the pack is unobstructed.

My mower loses power noticeably faster on cold mornings compared to the same battery in warm weather — is something wrong with the pack?

Nothing is wrong. Li-ion cells lose usable capacity below 10°C because lower temperatures increase internal resistance and reduce the rate at which cells can discharge energy. The effect is temporary — capacity returns to normal once the cells warm up during use. Store the battery indoors on cold nights and let it reach room temperature before fitting it to the mower for the best cold-weather output.
