Fits Samsung SPH-I300 and SCH-I300 smartphones; replaces OEM part BST0359LEB.
3.7V, 950mAh lithium-ion cell restores full charge cycles to aging devices.
Connector seats flush into the battery slot; locking tab engages without forcing.
We bench-tested the BMS on a full discharge cycle; fuel gauge IC accepted the new cell without error codes.
On first charge after installation, complete one full discharge-recharge cycle before normal use — the phone's coulomb counter needs to recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung SPH-I300 / SCH-I300 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BST0359LEB)

This is a 3.7V, 950mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Samsung SPH-I300 and SCH-I300 smartphones. It matches the OEM part number BST0359LEB and restores power to devices where the original cell no longer holds a usable charge. Capacity is 950mAh (3.52Wh), identical to the factory specification.

  • SPH-I300 and SCH-I300 compatibility: Both models use the same 3.7V single-cell Li-ion pack with the BST0359LEB footprint and connector pinout. The BMS handshake and charge termination voltage are identical across both variants, so one cell fits both without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the SPH-I300 platform. The BMS accepted charge termination at 4.2V and tripped the low-voltage cutoff at the expected threshold without false trips or thermal events.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% before using the phone normally. The SPH-I300 fuel gauge IC calibrates its coulomb counter against that first complete cycle — skipping it causes the percentage display to drift immediately.

Why the SPH-I300 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The SPH-I300 uses a fuel gauge IC that maps voltage curves from the previously installed cell. When a new cell goes in, the stored discharge curve no longer matches the new cell's actual voltage-to-capacity relationship. The result is percentage readings that read high early and then drop sharply. One complete discharge-to-shutoff followed by a full uninterrupted charge resets the coulomb counter against the new cell's actual curve. After that cycle, percentage reporting stabilises.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops below the modem or display's minimum rail voltage under load, even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. The original cell's internal resistance was known to the BMS; a fresh cell with a different discharge curve can hit a voltage cliff the gauge doesn't anticipate. The fix is the same recalibration cycle — one full discharge to cutoff, then charge to 4.2V without interruption. If shutdowns continue past two full cycles, check that the battery contacts on the phone are clean and making firm contact.

Frequently Asked Questions

The SPH-I300 shows 25% and then shuts off without warning — is the new battery faulty?

This is a fuel gauge calibration issue, not a faulty cell. The gauge IC on the SPH-I300 is still using the discharge curve from the old battery, so it misjudges how much voltage the new cell has left under modem load. Run one complete discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% without interruption. That single cycle recalibrates the coulomb counter and the shutdowns stop.

The phone won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat unused in storage for months — how do I recover it?

If the cell voltage dropped below approximately 2.5V during storage, the BMS has entered a lockout state to prevent charging a critically depleted cell. Connect the phone to a low-current charger — the original wall adapter, not a fast charger — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without attempting to power the phone on. The BMS performs a trickle pre-charge to bring the cell back above the lockout threshold before resuming normal charge current. Once the phone shows a charging indicator, let it reach 100% before use.

The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges — is that normal?

A new high-impedance cell draws more resistive heat during the first few charge cycles than a broken-in cell. On the SPH-I300, the charge IC does not throttle current based on cell age, so early cycles run slightly warmer than subsequent ones. Warm to the touch is within normal range; hot enough to be uncomfortable is not — disconnect and let the device cool to room temperature before continuing. After two or three full cycles the impedance drops and the warmth during charging reduces.
