Fits Vodafone 702NK, 702NKII, and V804NK phones replacing OEM part NKBF01.
This 3.7V, 750mAh cell restores full charge cycles to the 702NK platform after battery wear.
Connector seats flat into the original battery slot with no modification or adapter required.
We bench-cycled this pack against the stock fuel gauge IC; BMS accepted charge protocol on cycle two.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vodafone 702NK Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (NKBF01)

This is a 3.7V, 750mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Vodafone 702NK, 702NKII, and V804NK smartphones. It uses OEM part number NKBF01 and matches the original cell's dimensions at 53.00 × 33.90 × 5.70mm. It is a direct swap for a degraded or failed original cell.

  • 702NK, 702NKII, and V804NK compatibility: These three models share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail. The BMS handshake protocol is identical across the series, so one cell covers all three.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the 702NK platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, held cutoff at the correct low-voltage threshold, and showed no thermal anomaly during a full charge cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after cell swap: On first use, disable any fast-charge mode and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the phone's fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the 702NK after a cell replacement

This happens because the fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. A fresh cell has a steeper voltage cliff at low state-of-charge than a worn cell does. The phone's software reads the voltage drop as a critical low and forces shutdown — even though capacity remains. One full discharge-charge cycle rewrites the curve the IC uses, and the shutdowns stop.

Phone feels warm near the battery bay during the first charge cycle

A new cell starts with higher internal impedance than a broken-in one. The charge IC pushes current into that impedance, and some energy dissipates as heat. This is most noticeable on the first cycle and reduces significantly by the second or third charge. If the phone exceeds warm-to-touch or the charge IC throws an error, pull the charger and let the cell rest at room temperature before retrying at 3.9V or above.

Frequently Asked Questions

My 702NK powers off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — is the battery faulty?

The battery is not faulty. The phone's fuel gauge IC is still reading from the discharge curve it learned on the old, worn cell. A fresh cell holds voltage differently at low charge levels, so the IC calls a shutdown too early. Run one full discharge down to automatic cutoff and then charge to 100% without interruption — after that cycle the IC recalibrates and the early shutdowns stop.

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months before I installed it — what's wrong?

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if this one dropped below roughly 2.5V the BMS entered lockout mode to prevent damage. The phone won't boot from that state. Connect a known-good charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without attempting to power on — the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell until it clears the BMS lockout threshold before normal charging resumes.

The battery percentage on my 702NK jumps around erratically — it shows 60%, then skips to 80%, then drops back — what causes that?

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve. The coulomb counter inside the phone accumulated errors tracking the old cell and cannot instantly map those readings to a fresh cell. The jumping settles after two to three complete charge-discharge cycles. Let the phone discharge fully to auto-shutdown, charge uninterrupted to 100%, and repeat — by the third cycle the percentage readout stabilises.
