Fits ZIKOM Z650, Z660, and Z710 smartphones; replaces OEM battery CS-NK5CMX.
3.7V and 1000mAh capacity restores full runtime on these compact devices after original cell degradation.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with no locking tab; orientation marked on housing.
We ran full discharge cycles on the test unit; BMS held voltage stable until final 5%.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ZIKOM Z650 / Z660 / Z710 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V 1000mAh Li-ion cell for the ZIKOM Z650, Z660, and Z710 smartphones. All three models share the same battery bay dimensions (53.00 × 33.90 × 5.70mm) and voltage rail, so one cell covers the full set. Capacity is 1000mAh — 3.7Wh — matching the original spec.

  • Z650 / Z660 / Z710 fit: These three ZIKOM models use the same physical footprint and 3.7V single-cell architecture. The connector pinout and BMS communication protocol are identical across the trio, so the same replacement cell works without modification in any of them.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench and monitored BMS handshake behaviour. The protection circuit responded correctly to cutoff thresholds at both ends — no thermal events, no unexpected disconnect during load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins pushing current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Z650 after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the Z650 stores a learned discharge model from the old cell. A new cell has a slightly different voltage-versus-capacity curve, and the IC can misread where the actual floor is. When the modem fires during a call or the screen peaks in brightness, current draw spikes and voltage drops below the cutoff threshold before the gauge expected it. The phone shuts down even though the reported percentage looks safe. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate — not fast charge — forces the coulomb counter to relearn the new cell's curve and eliminates the early cutoff.

Phone not powering on after the battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If this cell dropped below roughly 2.5V per cell before installation, the BMS may have entered lockout mode to prevent damage — and the phone will show nothing when you press the power button. Connect to a known-good charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without attempting to power on. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 3.0V, before normal charging and boot can proceed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my ZIKOM Z650 shut off suddenly when the battery still shows 25% charge?

The fuel gauge IC calibrated itself to the old cell's discharge curve, so it misreads where the new cell's voltage floor actually sits. Under a load spike — modem transmitting, screen at full brightness — the cell voltage drops below the shutdown threshold before the percentage catches up. Run one full discharge to near-zero and then a full charge at standard rate, not fast charge. After that single cycle the coulomb counter recalibrates and the early shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my Z650 jumps around erratically after I fitted the new cell — is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The fuel gauge IC is still running the charge model it built from the old battery, so it maps voltage readings to percentage incorrectly on the new cell. This produces jumps — sometimes large ones — especially between 40% and 70% where the voltage curve is flattest. Complete one full uninterrupted discharge-charge cycle at standard current and the IC will lock onto the new cell's actual curve. Erratic readings typically settle within two cycles.

Fast charging stopped working on my Z660 after I replaced the battery — what happened?

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC sometimes fails to negotiate the fast-charge protocol because the new cell presents a higher impedance than the aged cell it replaced. The USB-PD or proprietary handshake completes, but the IC defaults to standard current as a precaution. Charge the phone fully once at standard rate, then reconnect with fast charging enabled. Most Z660 units re-establish the fast-charge handshake correctly from the second cycle onward.
