Fits Asus Zenbook UX330UA-FB161T and related UX330UA models, replacing OEM part C31N1602.
11.55V 4800mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers 55.44Wh — matches original capacity for full portable work sessions on this ultrabook.
Connector seats into the internal battery slot with a standard JST contact interface and mechanical locking tab aligned to the chassis frame.
We bench-tested this cell against a known-good UX330UA unit; the BMS accepted the new pack on first charge with no fault codes or voltage anomalies.
After installation, run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings that appear after every cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus Zenbook UX330UA Series — 11.55V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C31N1602)

This is an 11.55V, 4800mAh (55.44Wh) lithium-polymer battery for the Asus Zenbook UX330UA series, including the FB161T, GL192, FB019T, FC115T, and over 46 additional variants. It replaces OEM part numbers C31N1602 and 0B200-02090000. The slim 4.10mm cell profile matches the UX330UA's tight chassis clearance exactly.

  • UX330UA platform compatibility: All UX330UA variants share the same 11.55V three-cell configuration, identical connector pinout, and the same BMS handshake protocol — which is why one cell fits the full model range without firmware or connector changes.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell on a UX330UA board under a mixed CPU-plus-display load. The BMS held the 11.55V rail steady and reported state-of-charge accurately to the ACPI layer after two calibration cycles.
  • Post-install discharge cycle: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on the UX330UA.

BIOS reporting poor battery health after fitting the replacement cell

The UX330UA BIOS reads health data from EEPROM registers that carry figures from the original cell. A fresh cell has no matching EEPROM history, so the BIOS flags it as degraded immediately after install. This is a calibration gap, not a fault with the replacement. Run one full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted full charge. After two to three cycles, the fuel gauge IC overwrites the stale EEPROM data and the health warning clears.

Laptop shuts down suddenly at 20–30% charge shown on screen

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve. The new cell hits a voltage cliff under combined CPU and display load before the OS gauge reaches zero, triggering an immediate shutdown. The OS is reading a curve that no longer matches the physical cell. Discharge fully to hibernate cutoff twice in a row — each cycle trains the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's actual voltage profile and the early shutdowns stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

Windows shows the battery Wh rating as lower than the 55.44Wh spec — is something wrong with the cell?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The figure Windows displays is pulled from the EEPROM design-capacity field, which still holds the worn-out original cell's last recorded value. After two full discharge-charge cycles, the fuel gauge IC updates that register against the actual chemistry and the reported Wh figure corrects itself. Check System Information again after the second full cycle.

The charge stops at 80% and the laptop refuses to go higher — is the battery faulty?

This is a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a battery fault. Asus ships many UX330UA units with Battery Health Charging enabled in MyASUS or the UEFI firmware, which deliberately caps charge at 80% to reduce cell stress over time. Open MyASUS, go to Battery Health Charging, and switch the mode to Full Capacity. If MyASUS is not installed, enter BIOS on boot and check the Battery Care function setting there.

Windows shows "0% available (plugged in, charging)" and the percentage never moves after fitting the replacement — what's happening?

The fuel gauge IC lost its reference point when the old cell was removed and has not yet established one for the new cell. Leave the laptop plugged in and powered on for at least two hours without interrupting the charge. If the gauge remains stuck at 0%, shut down fully, leave it on charge for four hours, then power on — the ACPI battery driver re-initialises on a cold boot and the gauge typically resumes normal reporting from that point.
