Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus Q504UA-BHI5T13 / ZenBook Flip UX560UA Series — 15.2V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B41N1532)
This is a 15.2V, 3100mAh (47.12Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the Asus Q504UA-BHI5T13 and ZenBook Flip UX560UA convertible laptops. It replaces OEM part numbers B41N1532 and 0B200-02010100. The battery mounts inside the base chassis and reconnects via the original ribbon-style flat connector.
- Q504UA and UX560UA platform fit: Both the VivoBook Q504UA and ZenBook Flip UX560UA share the same 15.2V four-cell battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why a single part number covers both lines.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge-discharge cycles on the Q504UA platform. The BMS communicated state-of-charge correctly to the EC, and charging terminated cleanly at full capacity without false-positive fault flags.
- First-cycle calibration after install: After fitting this battery, run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears in MyASUS or Windows after every cell swap.
Why the Q504UA shuts down at 20–30% after a battery swap
The fuel gauge IC on this platform stores a discharge curve mapped to the original cell's chemistry. When a new cell is installed, that stored curve no longer matches actual cell voltage under load. Under combined CPU and display draw, the new cell's voltage drops faster than the old curve predicts, and the EC triggers an emergency shutdown before the gauge reaches zero. Running two full discharge-to-hibernate cycles forces the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate against the new cell's actual voltage profile. After calibration, shutdowns at false low percentages stop.
BIOS reporting the replacement battery Wh rating as wrong or unknown
The Wh figure shown in BIOS and Windows comes from EEPROM data embedded in the battery's protection circuit, not from a live measurement. Some aftermarket cells ship with EEPROM values that differ from the rated spec on the label, which causes BIOS to display a mismatched or "unknown" capacity. This is an EEPROM reporting difference — it does not affect actual charge capacity or cycle behaviour. Confirm real charge performance by running the calibration cycle above and checking the mWh figure in Windows Battery Report after two full cycles.

Frequently Asked Questions
The fuel gauge on my Q504UA is jumping around — it shows 60%, then skips to 15% within minutes of unplugging. Is this a faulty battery?
No — the fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it learned from the old cell. The new Li-Polymer cell has a slightly different voltage-to-capacity slope, so the gauge misreads state-of-charge until it recalibrates. Run two complete discharge-to-hibernate cycles followed by uninterrupted charges to 100%. After the second cycle, the fuel gauge IC maps the new curve and percentage readings stabilise.
MyASUS is showing "Battery health: Poor" immediately after I installed the replacement — the laptop was just opened.
That warning pulls health data from EEPROM on the battery's protection circuit, not from a live cycle count. A new cell with factory EEPROM values can read as degraded to the ASUS EC until the BIOS runs a learn cycle. Perform one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff and then a complete uninterrupted charge. After that cycle, MyASUS re-evaluates health against fresh charge data and the "Poor" flag clears.
My Q504UA stops charging at exactly 80% and won't go higher — the charger is connected but the indicator stays stuck.
The Asus EC on this platform includes a BIOS-level charge limit setting — it can be enabled by Battery Health Charging mode in MyASUS, which intentionally caps charging at 80% to reduce cell stress. Open MyASUS, go to Battery Health Charging, and switch the mode from "Balanced" or "Maximum Lifespan" to "Maximum Capacity." Charging will then continue past 80% and terminate at 100%.
