Fits Philips FC8772, FC8710, FC8776, FC8705 and 25+ models; replaces OEM part 4ICR19/65.
14.8V lithium-ion at 3400mAh delivers 50.32Wh — enough capacity to restore full cleaning cycles on this stick vacuum.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a single locking tab; verify orientation before inserting.
We bench-tested the BMS on dock charge cycles; the cell held voltage stable under motor load without early shutoff.
Do not leave this pack on the charging dock continuously — cordless vacuums develop capacity fade faster under trickle charge, so remove once full.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Philips FC8772 / FC8710 Series — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (4ICR19/65)

This 14.8V 3400mAh Li-ion battery pack replaces the original cell in Philips FC8772, FC8710, FC8776, FC8705, and over 25 additional FC-series cordless vacuums. OEM part numbers covered: 4ICR19/65, CP0111/01, and 3000-014-15881. Capacity matches the original specification at 50.32Wh.

  • FC8700-series platform fit: These models share the same 14.8V four-cell Li-ion architecture, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. A single replacement cell services the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on an FC8772 unit. The BMS initialised correctly on first charge, protection thresholds tripped as expected under simulated overcurrent, and cell balancing completed without fault flags.
  • Dock charging habit on FC-series vacuums: Do not leave this vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. FC-series vacuums on continuous dock power develop accelerated capacity fade — faster than almost any other cordless vacuum category. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS allows under a restricted airflow condition. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling sustained high current that triggers a soft voltage sag before the cell is actually depleted. The vacuum loses suction noticeably but the indicator still reads mid-charge. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers immediately, the battery is not the cause.

Motor cuts out for a few seconds then restarts on its own

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a battery fault. When the vacuum picks up a blockage or runs on deep carpet with a dirty filter, motor current spikes past the pack's protection threshold. The BMS disconnects the output, waits for the overcurrent condition to clear, then reconnects — usually within two to five seconds. Clear any blockage, check the filter, and confirm the resting pack voltage reads at least 15.5V after a full charge before assuming the cell is faulty.

Frequently Asked Questions

My FC8772 loses suction halfway through a room but the battery light still shows full — is the battery dying?

Not necessarily. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw above its rated current, which causes voltage sag at the cell before the indicator registers low. The BMS backs off motor power to protect the pack, and suction drops as a result. Clean the filter completely and test again — if suction holds through a full clean, the battery is fine.

The vacuum motor cuts out for a few seconds while I'm using it, then starts again by itself — what's causing that?

That's a BMS overcurrent trip. A blockage, a sudden load on thick carpet, or a clogged filter spikes motor current past the pack's protection threshold, and the BMS disconnects output briefly until the load drops. Clear any blockage and check the filter condition. If the fault keeps recurring on clean floors with no obstruction, charge the pack fully and confirm resting voltage reads at least 15.5V before suspecting the cell itself.

I've had this replacement battery for six months and runtime has already dropped noticeably — I always leave it on the dock. Is the cell defective?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade on FC-series vacuums. The charger delivers a low trickle current indefinitely once the pack is full, and that sustained low-level charge degrades Li-ion cells faster than normal use cycles. The cell is not defective — the charging habit is. Charge to full, unplug or remove from the dock, and only return it when the vacuum needs charging again.
