Leifheit Dryclean 510 Series — 3.2V LiFePO4 Replacement Battery (56925/LEI2)

This is a 3.2V, 1400mAh LiFePO4 cell for the Leifheit Dryclean 510 cordless handheld vacuum. It fits models 51000, 51000 II. generace, 51002, and 51113, among others. Capacity and voltage match the original specification exactly.

• Dryclean 510 model compatibility: These models share the same single-cell 3.2V motor drive circuit, the same BFN18650 1S1P cell format, and the same charge termination voltage. One replacement cell covers the full model range listed.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a 51000 unit. The BMS held charge termination correctly at 3.65V and engaged low-voltage cutoff at 2.5V without false trips during motor start.
• Dock charging habit for LiFePO4 cells: Do not leave the Dryclean 510 sitting on the charging dock continuously between uses. LiFePO4 tolerates trickle charge better than Li-ion, but sustained dock time still compresses active capacity over dozens of cycles. Charge to full, then remove it.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the Dryclean 510

This happens when the filter is partially blocked and the motor is drawing above its rated current to compensate. The BMS reads overcurrent before the cell voltage actually drops to the low indicator threshold, so the vacuum feels weak while the gauge still shows charge. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers immediately, the cell was not the issue. If suction remains weak after a clean filter, the cell has lost enough capacity that voltage sags under load even at a nominal 3.2V.

Motor cuts out mid-use and then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. On the Dryclean 510, a blocked nozzle or clogged filter causes the motor to spike current hard enough to trip the protection circuit. The BMS resets after a brief thermal settle, which is why the vacuum restarts without intervention. Clear the blockage and check the filter before fitting a new cell — swapping the battery will not fix a motor working against a restriction. If the cutout persists on a clean filter with a fresh cell, the motor brushes need inspection.
