Fits Polaris PVCR-0726W, PVCR-0826, PVCR-0926W, and PVCR-0930 cordless vacuums replacing OEM battery pack.
14.4V and 2600mAh lithium-ion delivers sustained motor power for floor and furniture cleaning cycles.
Battery slides into the clip-mount slot with a single locking tab — connector aligns automatically on insertion.
We bench tested this cell on the PVCR-0726W; BMS engaged at full voltage with zero cutoff lag under motor load.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously — cordless vacuums develop capacity fade under trickle charge, so remove the pack once fully charged.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Polaris PVCR-0726W / PVCR-0926W Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh lithium-ion battery for the Polaris PVCR-0726W, PVCR-0826, PVCR-0926W, and PVCR-0930 cordless vacuum cleaners. It slots into the same position as the original pack and runs through the same BMS handshake the charger expects. Use the capacity figure above — 2600mAh — as the reference spec.

  • PVCR-0726W / PVCR-0926W platform fit: These models share a 14.4V battery architecture with a common connector and BMS communication protocol. A replacement cell that does not match the voltage rail and handshake will either refuse to charge or trigger an immediate fault on the dock.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the PVCR platform. The BMS held cutoff correctly at low-cell voltage and accepted charge without triggering dock fault indicators.
  • Dock charging discipline for this vacuum: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Cordless vacuums on continuous dock charge accumulate trickle-charge stress faster than most users expect. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS threshold allows under load — typically caused by a partially blocked filter, not a failing battery. The BMS reads the increased current draw as a stress event and starts throttling output voltage before the fuel gauge registers low. Clean or replace the filter first. If suction recovers fully after that, the battery is not the cause.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip — not a dead battery. When the motor sustains restricted airflow, current spikes past the BMS protection threshold and the pack disconnects to prevent cell damage. The pause lets the BMS reset and re-engage. Check the filter and brush roll for blockage before replacing the battery. If the cutout stops after clearing the restriction, the original pack may still have usable capacity left.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Polaris PVCR-0726W is losing suction halfway through a clean but the battery indicator still shows plenty of charge — what's happening?

The BMS is throttling output voltage under sustained motor load before the fuel gauge catches up. This usually means the filter is restricting airflow enough to push current draw past the BMS protection threshold. Clean or replace the filter and run the vacuum again. If suction stays strong through the full clean, the battery was not the issue.

The vacuum cuts out after a few minutes on carpet, then works again if I wait — is the battery failing?

That pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead cell. Heavy carpet or a partially blocked brush roll forces the motor to pull more current than the BMS allows, so it disconnects the pack to protect the cells — then resets once the load clears. Clear the brush roll and filter before writing off the battery. If the cutouts stop after clearing the blockage, the pack is likely still functional.

The replacement battery charges fully but the vacuum runs for noticeably less time than the original did when new — what causes that?

Short runtime on a new pack almost always points to a partially blocked filter forcing the motor to draw above its rated current. Higher current draw depletes the 2600mAh capacity faster than normal operating conditions would. Fit a clean filter, then run the vacuum on a hard floor with no restriction and compare. If runtime improves significantly, the filter was the cause — not the battery capacity.
