Fits Ecovacs DN620, DN621, and CEN360 series robotic vacuums; replaces OEM part ICR18650-26J-4S1P.
14.4V, 2600mAh lithium-ion pack delivers 37.44Wh to power motor and navigation on floor runs.
Connector slides into dock contact block with locking tab on left side of housing.
We bench-tested this cell in the DN620 dock; BMS accepted charge cycle without fault codes.
Do not leave the vacuum on the charging dock permanently — continuous trickle charge degrades capacity faster than charging only when depleted.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ecovacs DN620 / DN621 / CEN360 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (ICR18650-26J-4S1P)

This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh Li-ion battery pack for Ecovacs robotic vacuum cleaners including the DN620, DN621, CEN360, and CEN361. It powers both the drive motors and the onboard navigation system. Fit the replacement when the original pack no longer holds a charge or the vacuum shuts down shortly after leaving the dock.

  • DN620 / DN621 / CEN360 / CEN361 platform: These models share the same 14.4V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between them uses the same pack — the cell arrangement and communication lines are identical across the series.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on DN620 hardware. The BMS negotiated correctly with the charger, overcurrent protection tripped at the expected threshold under a simulated motor-stall load, and the pack recovered cleanly without manual reset.
  • Dock charging habit on robotic vacuums: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the dock continuously between uses. Robotic vacuums held at full charge on a live dock develop capacity fade faster than units charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove the unit from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The DN620 pulls noticeably more current when the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll is restricted. Under that extra load, cell voltage sags earlier than the indicator circuit expects, so the vacuum loses suction power while the display still shows a healthy charge. The BMS reduces output to protect the cells before the low-battery threshold is triggered. Clean the filter and check the brush roll for hair wrap first — if suction recovers, the pack is not the cause.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then restarts after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failed battery. It happens when sustained suction restriction — usually a clogged filter or a partially jammed brush roll — forces the motor to draw beyond the pack's continuous current rating. The BMS disconnects to protect the cells, then re-enables once the pack temperature and current settle. Clear the filter, spin the brush roll by hand to confirm it moves freely, then restart the vacuum. If the cut-out stops after cleaning, the replacement pack will operate normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My DN620 was cleaning fine but now it shuts off halfway through a run even though the dock shows it charged fully — what's happening?

A fully charged pack that cuts out mid-run points to capacity fade in the original cells — the pack reaches its low-voltage cutoff well before the floor is finished, even though it accepted a full charge. An aged Li-ion cell can charge to 16.8V but shed voltage rapidly under motor load, triggering the BMS cutoff early. Replacing the pack restores the usable capacity. Before fitting the new battery, clean the filter — a blocked filter makes the motor draw harder and will shorten runtime on any pack, new or old.

I left my DN620 on the charging dock for several weeks while I was away and now it barely runs — did the battery fail from sitting?

Continuous dock charging is one of the fastest ways to degrade a Li-ion pack in a robotic vacuum. Holding cells at 100% charge with a trickle current damages the anode over time, reducing the capacity available for each run. A few weeks of permanent dock connection is enough to cause measurable fade. Once you fit the replacement pack, charge it to full and then remove the unit from the dock — only return it to charge when the battery indicator drops to low.

The DN620 won't start a cleaning cycle after I fitted the replacement battery — the dock light is on but pressing start does nothing.

Some Ecovacs models expect the BMS in the battery pack to complete a handshake with the main board before allowing motor activation. If the handshake fails, the vacuum appears powered but ignores the start command. First, seat the battery firmly — a slightly misaligned connector can break the communication pins while still passing enough voltage to light the dock indicator. Remove the pack, reseat it with firm pressure until it clicks, then place the unit on the dock for a full charge cycle before attempting to start. If the vacuum still won't respond, verify you have the correct replacement by cross-referencing part number ICR18650-26J-4S1P against your unit's battery compartment label.
