This is a 14.8V, 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Tefal RG 7765 WH cordless vacuum cleaner. It replaces OEM part RS-2230002091. Fits both RG 7765 WH and RG7765WH variants — same chassis, same connector.

• RG 7765 WH platform fit: The RG 7765 WH runs a 14.8V four-cell Li-ion pack with a specific BMS handshake that controls both charge acceptance and motor cutoff thresholds. This replacement matches that cell configuration and communicates correctly with the vacuum's onboard management circuit.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator shows low on the RG 7765 WH

This is one of the most misread symptoms on stick vacuums. The battery indicator measures cell voltage at rest or under light load — it does not reflect what happens when the motor hits a restriction. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated. That extra draw causes a voltage sag across the cells, and the BMS reads the sag as a low-battery condition and throttles motor output. Clean or replace the filter first before assuming the battery is at fault.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, clogged brush roll, or tight carpet pile — the motor draws a sustained current spike above the BMS trip threshold. The BMS cuts power to protect the cells, then resets once current drops. The fix is mechanical, not electrical: clear the blockage, clean the filter, and check the brush roll for fibre wrap. If the motor still cuts out on an unobstructed clean, check that cell voltage under load stays above 13.2V.
