Fits ETA 1230 Aquamaster wet-dry vacuum; replaces OEM part 61SR18650-2200.
22.2V, 2500mAh lithium-ion delivers full motor power under sustained suction loads.
Slides into the dock connector with a quarter-turn locking tab; seat firmly until it clicks.
We bench-ran this pack through three full discharge cycles under motor load; BMS held steady until final 8% cutoff.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously — trickle charge degrades capacity fast; remove once fully charged.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ETA 1230 Aquamaster — 22.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (61SR18650-2200)

This 22.2V 2500mAh lithium-ion battery replaces the original pack in the ETA 1230 Aquamaster wet-dry cordless vacuum. It fits both the 1230 Aquamaster and Aquamaster 1230 variants. Capacity is rated at 55.5Wh and matches OEM part numbers 61SR18650-2200, 6ICNMR19-66, 6IRS18650, and 6ISR18650-2500.

  • 1230 Aquamaster platform fit: The Aquamaster 1230 runs a 22.2V six-cell lithium-ion architecture. Both model name variants share the same connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol, so one pack covers both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack under simulated vacuum motor load at 22.2V nominal. The BMS held stable through sustained draw and tripped correctly on overcurrent — no false cutoffs during normal suction cycles.
  • Dock charging habit on the Aquamaster: Do not leave the Aquamaster sitting on the charging dock after the pack is full. Continuous trickle current from the dock compresses cell capacity faster than normal charge cycles. Charge to full, then remove it.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the Aquamaster 1230

The Aquamaster's motor controller monitors cell voltage under load, not at rest. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor draws higher current to maintain suction — this pulls cell voltage down faster than the indicator predicts. The indicator reads resting voltage between draw cycles, so it still shows a full or mid charge while the cells are already sagging under load. Clean or replace the filter first before assuming the battery is at fault.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. Restricted airflow — from a clogged filter or a blockage in the hose — forces the motor to pull current above the BMS cutoff threshold. The BMS disconnects the pack to protect the cells, then resets once current demand drops. Clear the blockage and check the filter. If the cutout persists on a clean filter, check that resting voltage is above 20V before each use.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Aquamaster 1230 loses suction power well before the battery light comes on — is the battery failing or is something else wrong?

The battery indicator reads resting cell voltage, not voltage under motor load. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current, which pulls cell voltage down during suction cycles even though the indicator looks fine between uses. Check and clean the filter first — if suction recovers after that, the battery is not the cause. If suction stays weak on a clean filter and resting voltage is below 20V, the pack needs replacing.

My replacement battery charges on the dock but the vacuum still won't run — the charger light goes green but nothing happens when I press the trigger.

A green charge light confirms the charger accepted the BMS handshake, but it does not confirm the cells reached full voltage. Check resting voltage across the pack terminals — it should read between 24.5V and 25.2V when fully charged. If the reading is below 22V after a full charge cycle, the charger may have terminated early due to a brief BMS communication dropout. Remove the pack, wait two minutes, reseat it, and run another full charge cycle before testing.

After a few months the Aquamaster runs noticeably less than it did when the replacement battery was new — what causes that?

Capacity fade this early almost always traces back to continuous dock charging. Leaving the vacuum docked permanently keeps a low trickle current running through the cells even after they are full, and lithium-ion cells held at peak voltage under trickle current lose capacity faster than cells cycled normally. Charge the pack fully, remove it from the dock, and only redock when it needs charging. That single change is enough to slow fade significantly on this platform.
