Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Acer Liquid Mini / E310 / Liquid Express — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BT.0010S.005)
This 3.7V, 1300mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Acer Liquid Mini, E310, Liquid Express, E320, and compatible models. It matches the OEM dimensions at 65.50 × 42.00 × 4.50mm and uses OEM part numbers BT.0010S.005, BAT-310, and BT.0010S.002. Fit this when the original cell no longer holds a usable charge through a normal day.
- Liquid Mini / E310 / E320 platform fit: These models share the same battery bay dimensions, 3.7V single-cell architecture, and connector pinout — one cell covers the full group without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Liquid Mini platform. The BMS held charge termination correctly and protection circuits tripped at expected over-discharge thresholds without false cutoffs mid-cycle.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge to automatic shutdown and a full uninterrupted charge before relying on the percentage reading. The Liquid Mini's fuel gauge IC carries calibration data from the old cell — one complete cycle overwrites it against the new discharge curve.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Acer Liquid Mini after a cell swap
The Liquid Mini's modem and display together pull enough current during peak load to expose the voltage cliff on a new, uncalibrated cell. When the fuel gauge IC still maps to the old cell's discharge curve, it reads 25% remaining while the actual cell voltage has already dropped below what the SoC needs to stay on. The phone cuts out even though the gauge shows charge remaining. One full discharge-to-shutdown and charge-to-100% cycle resets the coulomb counter and eliminates most of these early shutdowns.
Phone won't power on after the replacement battery sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if this cell sat below 2.5V before installation, the BMS lockout circuit will block normal startup to protect the cell from damage. Plugging into a charger and waiting five to ten minutes at the lock screen — without pressing the power button repeatedly — lets the charge IC push enough current in to clear the BMS threshold. If the screen stays dark, hold the charge cable steady for a full 15 minutes before attempting a power-on; the cell needs to reach approximately 3.0V before the BMS releases.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Acer Liquid Mini shows 25% battery then shuts off immediately — is that the new cell or the phone?
That's the fuel gauge IC still reading against the old cell's discharge curve, not a defective replacement. The coulomb counter was calibrated to how the worn original cell behaved under load. Run one complete discharge — let the phone shut itself off — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that single cycle the percentage readings align with the new cell's actual voltage curve and the early shutdowns stop.
The battery percentage on my Liquid Mini is jumping around erratically after I fitted the new cell — 60% one minute, 45% the next.
Erratic percentage jumps happen because the fuel gauge IC has no reference data for the new cell's impedance profile yet. Until the IC runs at least one full discharge-charge cycle, it interpolates from stale calibration points and the output is unreliable. Let the phone discharge to auto-shutdown naturally — no manual power-offs — then charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle the readings stabilise.
My Liquid Mini gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges after fitting the replacement — is that normal?
Some warmth during early charge cycles on a new cell is normal. A fresh Li-ion cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC dissipates a little more energy as heat while it pushes current in. The warmth should reduce noticeably after two or three full charge cycles as the cell's impedance settles. If the phone becomes hot to hold — above uncomfortable to touch — stop the charge and check that the battery connector is fully seated flat with no lifting at the corners.
