Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Acer Liquid Z630 / Z630S — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BAT-T11)
This is a 3.8V, 3200mAh Li-ion cell replacing OEM part BAT-T11 in the Acer Liquid Z630 and Z630S smartphones, as well as the T04 variant. It matches the original cell's dimensions at 91.82 × 69.85 × 4.45mm, so it seats correctly in the battery bay without modification. Voltage and capacity figures come from the product data, not estimates.
- Liquid Z630, Z630S, and T04 fitment: All three share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake. OEM part numbers BAT-T11, BAT-T11(1ICP4/68/88), and KT.0010S.018 all refer to the same cell specification — any of these on your original battery confirms this listing is the correct replacement.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles through the Z630's charge IC, confirmed the BMS communicated cell state correctly, and verified the protection circuit tripped at the expected voltage floor. No abnormal heat from the charge IC during the test cycle.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to your old cell's discharge curve. Letting it run one full uninterrupted cycle on the new cell lets the coulomb counter reset its reference before any high-current charging begins.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Liquid Z630 after a cell swap
This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it learned from the old, degraded cell. When the modem fires a high-current burst or the screen backlight peaks, the new cell's voltage under load drops faster than the IC expects at that reported percentage. The IC interprets this as an emergency low-voltage condition and cuts power before the display ever reaches 0%. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% rewrites the reference curve. After that cycle, shutdowns at 20–30% stop.
Phone warm near the battery during charging on first cycle
A new Li-ion cell has higher internal impedance than a cell that has been through several charge cycles. The charge IC pushes current into this higher impedance and generates more heat than usual until the cell's impedance settles. This is normal on cycle one and typically resolves by cycle three. If the phone remains warm past cycle three, check that the rear cover is seated flat — any gap traps heat at the battery.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Acer Liquid Z630 says 25% battery then shuts down without warning — is that the new cell or a phone fault?
That's the fuel gauge IC reading from the old cell's discharge curve, not a phone fault. When modem or screen load pulls a current spike, the new cell's voltage sags below the IC's emergency threshold before the percentage reaches zero. Run one full discharge to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. That single cycle recalibrates the coulomb counter to the new cell and the premature shutdowns stop.
The Liquid Z630 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in the drawer for a few months before I installed it — what's wrong?
If the cell self-discharged below approximately 2.5V during storage, the BMS entered lockout mode to prevent cell damage. The phone won't respond to the power button in this state. Connect the original charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing anything — the charge IC will trickle current into the cell until the BMS unlocks and normal charging resumes. Once the screen shows a charging indicator, the cell has cleared lockout.
Fast charging stopped working on my Z630 after I put in this replacement — it only charges slowly now.
On the first charge cycle, the phone's charge IC negotiates current delivery against the new cell's impedance profile, which is higher than a conditioned cell. Some Z630 units fall back to standard charge rates until the BMS has completed one full cycle and the IC trusts the cell's response. Charge to 100% and discharge normally once without interruption. If fast charging still doesn't re-engage after that cycle, check that the USB cable is the original or a cable rated for the correct current — a resistive cable prevents the handshake from completing regardless of the cell.
