Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ZTE Blade GF3 / T320 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (Li3818T43P3h665344)
This is a 3.7V, 1500mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the ZTE Blade GF3 and T320 smartphones. It matches the OEM part number Li3818T43P3h665344 and fits the same battery bay without modification. Replace this cell when the original no longer holds a useful charge across a full day of normal use.
- Blade GF3 and T320 compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The Li3818T43P3h665344 part number covers both, so one cell fits either device without any adapter or wiring change.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a ZTE Blade GF3 unit. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.2V, and the fuel gauge IC tracked state-of-charge through a full discharge without dropping out.
- First-cycle fuel gauge reset: On first use after fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. The fuel gauge IC on the Blade GF3 holds calibration data from the old cell. A full cycle at low current lets it recalibrate its discharge curve against the new cell before higher charge currents are applied.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Blade GF3 after a cell swap
This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve from the original aged cell. When the modem fires during a call or the screen brightness spikes, current draw pulls the actual cell voltage below the shutdown threshold faster than the percentage reading suggests. The phone cuts out even though the gauge shows charge remaining. Run two full discharge-charge cycles without fast charging — after that, the coulomb counter aligns with the new cell's actual voltage cliff and the shutdowns stop.
Phone not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If this battery dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell before installation, the BMS may have entered lockout mode to prevent damage. The phone will show no response — no charge indicator, no vibration. Connect the phone to a wall charger, not a USB port, and leave it untouched for 15–20 minutes. The charge IC on most ZTE devices will trickle-charge at a low current to bring the cell above the BMS wake threshold, typically around 2.9V, before switching to normal charge mode.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Blade GF3 shows the wrong battery percentage after I put in the new cell — it jumped from 40% to 5% mid-use. What's happening?
The fuel gauge IC on the Blade GF3 stores a learned discharge curve from the old cell. When a new cell is fitted, that stored curve no longer matches the actual voltage-to-capacity relationship, so the percentage reading loses accuracy and can jump erratically. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without fast charging enabled. After that single calibration cycle, the coulomb counter rebuilds its model against the new cell and the percentage stabilises.
Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in the phone after fitting this battery. Is the charger the problem?
The charger is likely fine. On first contact with a new cell, the charge IC on the Blade GF3 sometimes defaults to standard charge rates while it verifies the BMS handshake is stable. This is normal behaviour on the first one or two cycles. Let the phone complete a full charge at standard rate, then unplug and replug — fast charging should resume once the charge IC has confirmed a clean BMS response from the new cell. If it still does not trigger, check that the USB cable supports the required current rating for your charger.
The phone feels warm near the battery compartment while charging after the swap. Should I be concerned?
A new Li-ion cell has higher internal impedance than a well-cycled one. In the first few charge cycles, the charge IC pushes current into a cell with slightly more resistance, which generates more heat than you would have noticed with the original aged cell. The warmth should reduce noticeably by the third or fourth charge cycle as impedance drops. If the phone becomes hot to the touch — not just warm — during charging, remove the charger and let it cool, then check that the charger output matches ZTE's rated input for the device.
