This happens when a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than its rated load. The BMS reads the elevated draw as a voltage sag and begins throttling output — even though the battery still holds charge. Motor cuts out mid-clean and then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, clogged nozzle, or carpet pile jamming the brush — the motor pulls a sustained high current and the BMS cuts power to protect the cells. After a few seconds the BMS resets and power returns. Check and clear any airflow restriction, then run the vacuum again. If trips continue with a clear filter, measure resting pack voltage — it should read at or above 11.1V when fully charged.
