Fits Agfeo IP Multi-Cell and Multi-Cell headsets; replaces OEM part numbers AK320A and GSP042535 01.
This 3.7V, 320mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers 1.18Wh to restore talk time on DECT wireless headsets.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a single locking tab; orientation is keyed to prevent reverse insertion.
We bench-tested the cell in a Multi-Cell base station; the BMS handshook on first insertion and held voltage steady under sustained DECT radio load.
Charge the headset in the base station for one full cycle before taking calls — DECT platforms need this first cycle to calibrate talk-time estimates accurately.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Agfeo IP Multi-Cell — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (AK320A)

This 3.7V, 320mAh lithium-polymer cell replaces the internal battery in the Agfeo IP Multi-Cell and Multi-Cell Headset. At 37.00 × 25.00 × 4.50mm, it matches the original footprint for a direct fit inside the headset housing. Swap it when the original pack no longer holds charge through a full shift.

  • IP Multi-Cell and Multi-Cell Headset compatibility: Both models share the same 3.7V cell format, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one battery covers the full range without any modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the IP Multi-Cell base station and confirmed the BMS completed handshake, accepted the full charge curve, and released cleanly on discharge without premature cutoff.
  • First-cycle base station logging: Seat the headset in the base station and let it run a full charge cycle before taking a call. DECT headsets log the new cell during that first cycle — until it completes, the talk-time indicator on the base will not read accurately.

Why the IP Multi-Cell headset cuts out mid-call on a new battery

The IP Multi-Cell draws simultaneously from the audio circuit and the DECT radio transmitter during active calls. That combined load creates brief current spikes the BMS on a storage-voltage cell can read as an undervoltage fault, triggering a cutoff. A new cell shipped at storage voltage — typically around 3.6–3.7V — has not yet completed a conditioning cycle, so the BMS threshold trips more easily. One full charge cycle from the base station resolves this in almost every case.

Base station shows full charge but headset drops off after a few minutes

This happens when the base station reads the cell voltage as charged before the BMS has fully logged the new pack. The base station reports "full" based on voltage alone, but the headset cuts off under real audio and radio load because available capacity is not confirmed yet. Place the headset in the cradle, leave it undisturbed for a complete charge cycle, and do not take it off the base mid-cycle. After that first uninterrupted cycle, the base-station indicator and actual talk time align. If the symptom continues, check that the cell resting voltage off the charger reaches at least 4.1V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Agfeo IP Multi-Cell headset cuts out mid-call even though the battery was just replaced — what's causing it?

The DECT radio and audio circuit draw at the same time during a call, creating short current spikes that can trip the BMS on a cell that hasn't been conditioned yet. A new cell arrives at storage voltage and the BMS cutoff threshold is more easily triggered until it has been through a full charge cycle. Seat the headset in the base station and let it complete one uninterrupted charge before use. That single cycle is usually enough to stop the mid-call dropouts.

The base station is not recognising the new battery — it shows a charging error or no charge indicator at all. How do I fix this?

The BMS handshake between the headset and base station has not completed. This usually happens when the cell voltage is low enough on arrival that the base station's charge controller does not initiate the handshake sequence. Remove the headset from the base, wait 10 seconds, then reseat it firmly so the contacts are fully engaged. If the error persists, check that the dock contacts are clean and free of oxidation — a cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol clears most contact faults.

Talk time on my IP Multi-Cell headset is much shorter than expected for the first few days after fitting a new battery — is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong — this is normal for a fresh lithium-polymer cell. Li-Po cells need three to five full charge-discharge cycles before they reach rated capacity, and the first couple of cycles will feel noticeably shorter. Each complete cycle through the base station improves available capacity incrementally. By cycle five, talk time should stabilise at or close to the rated figure for the 320mAh cell.
