Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Airrobo T10+ / T9 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This is a 14.4V, 6700mAh (96.48Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Airrobo T10+, T10 Plus, and T9 robotic vacuum cleaners. It replaces a degraded or failed original pack and restores full autonomous cleaning operation. Fit the same way as the original — no modifications needed.
- T10+, T10 Plus, and T9 compatibility: All three models share the same 14.4V battery platform, connector format, and BMS communication protocol. Swapping between them carries no compatibility risk — the voltage rail and handshake are identical across the range.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the T10+ dock. The BMS negotiated correctly with the charger, accepted a full charge without fault codes, and held voltage within normal operating range under motor load across repeated runs.
- Dock charging habit on the T10+: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the dock continuously between uses. Robotic vacuums on permanent dock charge trickle-charge the cell constantly, which accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove the unit from the dock until the next cleaning session.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The T10+ motor draws more current when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter or full dustbin forces the motor to work harder to maintain suction pressure. That elevated current draw pulls the cell voltage down faster than the indicator expects, so suction weakens while the indicator still shows a healthy charge level. The BMS reads real cell voltage, not a modelled state-of-charge, so the display lags behind the actual power available. Clean the filter and empty the dustbin first — if suction recovers, the battery is not the cause.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a flat battery. When the T10+ drives over thick carpet or encounters a sustained blockage, the motor current spikes beyond the BMS protection threshold and the pack shuts the output temporarily. The BMS resets automatically once the current drops, which is why the vacuum resumes after a short pause. Clear any blockage at the brush roll and check the filter — sustained restriction is the most common trigger. If the cutout repeats on open hard floor with a clean filter, check that cell voltage under load stays above 12.0V.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Airrobo T10+ fitted with the new battery keeps stopping mid-clean on carpet and then starting again — what's causing that?
That stop-start behaviour is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a faulty battery. Thick carpet or a partial brush-roll blockage spikes the motor current above the protection threshold, and the BMS cuts output for a few seconds until current drops. Check the brush roll for tangled hair or debris and inspect the filter — restricted airflow forces the motor to draw more current than rated. If the behaviour continues on clean hard floor, test cell voltage under load; it should stay above 12.0V during operation.
The T10+ shows a good charge level but suction is noticeably weaker than when the vacuum was new — is the battery the problem?
Weak suction with a strong indicator reading usually points to a blocked filter or full dustbin, not the battery. A restricted airflow path forces the motor to draw higher current, which drags cell voltage down faster and reduces effective motor speed — suction drops while the indicator still reads mid-range. Clean or replace the filter and empty the dustbin, then run a cleaning cycle. If suction returns to normal, the battery is fine; if it stays weak with a clear filter, check the dustbin seal and brush-roll housing for air leaks.
I leave my T10+ on the dock all the time — could that have damaged the original battery, and will it affect this replacement cell too?
Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of capacity fade in robotic vacuums. The charger keeps a trickle current flowing through the cell indefinitely, which stresses lithium-ion chemistry and degrades capacity over months. The same will happen to this replacement cell if the habit continues. Charge the T10+ to full, then lift it off the dock — return it to the dock only when the battery is depleted or before a scheduled clean.
