Fits Inventum cordless vacuum models with 61CNMR1966 battery slot; direct OEM replacement.
25.2V lithium-ion, 2000mAh capacity delivers consistent motor voltage under sustained suction loads.
Connector slides into vertical dock mount with locking tab; orientation marked on pack.
Bench test showed BMS accepted full charge cycle on Inventum dock without fault signals.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously—trickle charge degrades capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Inventum 61CNMR1966 — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 25.2V, 2000mAh Li-ion replacement battery for Inventum cordless vacuum cleaners using OEM part number 61CNMR1966. It fits the original battery slot and runs on the same voltage rail as the factory cell. Replace this when your existing battery no longer holds charge or the vacuum loses suction well before the indicator shows low.

  • Inventum cordless vacuum platform: Inventum stick vacuums on this voltage rail share the same battery housing, connector, and BMS handshake. One cell covers the full range of models that accept part number 61CNMR1966.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on compatible hardware. The BMS responded correctly to both standard charge termination and overcurrent conditions — no false trips under normal motor load.
  • Dock charging habit on cordless vacuums: Do not leave the vacuum on the charging dock permanently. Cordless vacuums on continuous dock charge develop capacity fade significantly faster than those charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This is a voltage sag issue, not always a dead battery. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor draws more current than rated to maintain suction. The extra draw pulls cell voltage down faster than normal, causing the motor to slow before the indicator registers low. Clean the filter first — if suction still fades early, the cell has lost capacity and needs replacement.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip caused by sustained restricted airflow. When suction is blocked — by a clogged filter or a jammed nozzle — the motor strains and current spikes above the BMS threshold. The BMS disconnects the cell to protect it, then resets once current drops. Clear the blockage, confirm the filter is clean, and resume use. If cut-outs continue with a clear filter, check that the replacement cell voltage reads at least 25.0V on a multimeter after a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Inventum cordless vacuum runs for much less time than it used to — the filter is clean, so what else causes this?

Capacity fade from continuous dock charging is the most common cause. Leaving the vacuum plugged into the dock permanently subjects the battery to a slow trickle charge that degrades cell capacity over time. A new 2000mAh cell restores rated capacity, but the habit needs to change too — charge to full and remove the vacuum from the dock each time.

The vacuum's suction drops off noticeably under heavy carpet but recovers on hard floors — is this a battery fault?

This is voltage sag under high motor load. Deep carpet increases resistance against the suction head, forcing the motor to draw more current. An aged cell cannot hold its voltage under that load and the motor slows. A fresh 25.2V cell with full capacity handles the current spike without sagging — if the symptom continues after replacement, check that the nozzle is not partially jammed.

My Inventum vacuum will not charge after fitting the replacement battery — the charger light does not change from standby.

The charger checks for a valid BMS handshake before starting the charge cycle. If the replacement cell has shipped in a deeply discharged state, the BMS may not respond. Connect the charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes — some BMS units require a trickle pre-charge period before the handshake completes. If the charger light still does not respond after that period, verify the connector is fully seated and that the charger output measures 29V or above with a multimeter.
