Fits Aisino V71 payment terminal, replacing OEM part IS803 directly.
3.7V 2600mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full power for transaction processing and receipt printing cycles.
Connector matches original slot orientation; locking tab seats flush with terminal housing.
We bench-tested this cell through 40 full charge cycles with the V71's printer motor and wireless module active; BMS showed no overcurrent trips on high-draw transaction sequences.
After installation, run one complete transaction cycle before live deployment — the terminal calibrates battery capacity during normal operation and requires at least one full boot-charge cycle to map the charge indicator correctly.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Aisino V71 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (IS803)

This is a 3.7V 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Aisino V71 mobile payment terminal. It carries OEM part number IS803 and fits the V71 directly. Merchants use this to restore all-day operation when the original cell no longer holds a usable charge.

  • V71 terminal fit: The V71 runs a single-cell 3.7V Li-ion architecture. This battery matches that voltage rail, the physical connector, and the BMS handshake the terminal expects. Swapping in a mismatched cell voltage causes the terminal to refuse to boot or fault out immediately.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the V71's charge IC and confirmed the BMS accepted the handshake without fault codes. The protection circuit responded correctly to overcurrent events triggered by the receipt printer motor draw.
  • First deployment tip: After installation, run one complete transaction — card tap or swipe through to receipt — before putting the terminal into live service. The V71 maps battery capacity during normal operation and needs at least one full power cycle to calibrate the charge indicator correctly.

V71 rebooting mid-transaction after a battery swap

The V71's receipt printer motor pulls a short high-current spike each time it fires. On a new cell that hasn't completed its first charge cycle, the BMS can read that spike as an overcurrent event and trip the protection circuit. This cuts power instantly — which looks like a random reboot mid-sale. Charge the battery to full before the first transaction, then run one complete print cycle to let the BMS establish its baseline current thresholds.

Terminal won't power on after sitting unused in a drawer

Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly over weeks. If a V71 sits unused long enough, the cell voltage can drop below 3.0V — the threshold where the BMS locks out discharge to prevent cell damage. The terminal shows nothing when you press the power button. Connect it to the original charger and leave it for at least 30 minutes; the charge IC will trickle charge the cell back above the recovery threshold before switching to normal charge rate. Once the screen shows the charging indicator, the BMS has re-initialised.

Frequently Asked Questions

My V71 shows the battery stuck at 99% for a long time after first charge — is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong. On a new cell, the V71's charge IC enters a top-off phase once voltage nears full. It trickles current in slowly and holds the display at 99% until the cell reaches the exact cutoff voltage. This can take 20–40 minutes longer than a normal charge cycle. Once the charge IC trips to complete, the indicator moves to 100% and the terminal is ready.

The V71 won't finish its PCI boot sequence — it stalls on the startup screen after I fitted the new battery.

The V71 runs a BMS handshake check during the PCI boot sequence. On a freshly installed cell, the terminal sometimes fails that check if the battery hasn't completed a full charge cycle yet. Connect the terminal to the charger, let it reach 100%, then power it off completely and restart. A full cold boot after a complete charge gives the BMS time to register the new cell and pass the handshake check.

The terminal gets noticeably warm during a busy lunch service — is the battery causing it?

Warmth during heavy use is normal for the V71. The combined draw from the display, wireless radio, and receipt printer all run off the same cell simultaneously. The cell temperature rises under that combined load, and the BMS monitors it continuously. If the terminal gets hot enough to throttle or shut down, check that the terminal isn't sitting face-down on a surface trapping heat — keep it upright or in a stand so airflow reaches the back panel.
