Fits Amarey A800 and A900 cordless vacuums, replacing OEM battery pack for handheld dust collection models.
14.4V lithium-ion pack delivers 2600mAh capacity, sustaining motor voltage under carpet load and filter restriction without premature cutoff.
Slide connector seats into battery slot on vacuum handle with locking tab; orientation is keyed — insertion only one direction.
We bench-tested the BMS under sustained suction load on restricted filter; cell held voltage stable through overcurrent events without nuisance shutdown.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously — cordless vacuums develop capacity fade under trickle charge; charge to full and remove.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Amarey A800 / A900 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V 2600mAh lithium-ion battery pack for the Amarey A800 and A900 cordless stick vacuums. It slots into the same bay as the original and runs the same 14.4V motor rail. Capacity is 2600mAh (37.44Wh), matching the stock specification.

  • A800 and A900 shared platform: Both models run the same 14.4V motor bus and use the same battery bay geometry. One battery covers both units — the voltage rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake are identical across the two.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge cycles on an A800 chassis. The BMS held cutoff at the correct lower threshold and did not trip during normal suction load. Charge acceptance matched the dock timing of the factory cell.
  • Dock charging habit for the A800 and A900: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the dock continuously between uses. These models trickle-charge when docked and the BMS does not interrupt that current once full. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS expects and the cell voltage sags under load before the indicator registers depletion. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling sustained high current that triggers voltage sag without a low-battery signal. The vacuum feels underpowered while the indicator still shows charge remaining. Clear the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery was not the fault.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and recovering after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a flat battery. When airflow is restricted — blocked filter, full dust cup, or a hair tangle at the brush roll — the motor draws above the BMS current threshold and the protection circuit cuts output. The pause resets the trip and power returns. Fix the restriction before assuming the battery is at fault. If cut-outs persist after clearing the filter and dust cup, check that cell voltage at rest is above 12.0V with a multimeter.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Amarey A800 suction feels weak even on a full charge — is this a battery problem or something else?

A partially blocked filter is the most common cause. When airflow is restricted, the motor draws above its rated current, which causes cell voltage to sag under load even when the battery reads full. Clean or replace the filter first and empty the dust cup completely. If suction restores, the battery was fine — if it stays weak after clearing the filter, charge the pack fully and check that resting voltage is at or above 14.4V before assuming the cell has failed.

The vacuum runs for a short time, cuts out, then works again after I leave it for a minute — what is causing that?

The BMS is tripping on an overcurrent event, not a depleted cell. Sustained restricted airflow — a clogged filter, packed dust cup, or hair wrapped around the brush roll — forces the motor to draw more than the BMS allows, so it cuts the output circuit. The pause clears the trip and power returns. Remove the restriction, then run the vacuum again; if cut-outs stop, the battery is not faulty. If they continue on a clear airway, measure resting cell voltage — it should sit above 12.0V between uses.

I replaced the battery but the A900 charging dock does not seem to be charging it — the light never changes.

The A800 and A900 docks communicate a basic handshake with the BMS before starting a charge cycle. If the dock light does not change state within the first few minutes of seating the battery, remove the pack, wait 30 seconds, and reseat it firmly — a loose contact breaks the handshake. If that does not resolve it, try charging with the battery seated directly in the vacuum rather than through the dock, if your model supports that. Confirm the dock output is live by checking for 16–17V DC at the charge contacts with a multimeter.
