Onson F007 / J10C — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh Li-ion battery for the Onson F007 and J10C cordless stick vacuums. It replaces the original cell when the vacuum no longer holds a charge or shuts off early during use. Voltage and chemistry match the original pack exactly.

• F007 and J10C compatibility: Both models run the same 14.4V motor rail and use the same connector and BMS handshake. One cell covers both platforms — no modifications needed.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the cell through charge, discharge, and motor-start cycles. The BMS handled inrush current on startup without tripping and held voltage above the cutoff threshold through full discharge.
• Dock charging caution: Remove the vacuum from the charging dock once the battery is full. Leaving it docked continuously puts the cell through a slow trickle charge loop that accelerates capacity fade over weeks of use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than the cell can sustain at its current state of charge. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling higher current and causing voltage to sag below the motor's efficient operating range. The vacuum feels like it's losing battery when the real cause is restricted airflow amplifying the load. Clean the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery is not the fault.

Motor cuts out mid-use then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the motor sustains a high-current draw — typically from a blocked intake or thick carpet — the BMS cuts the output to protect the cell. After a short cool-down the BMS resets and the vacuum powers back on. Clear any blockage in the nozzle and filter before assuming the battery is faulty. If the cutout repeats on a clear filter, check that the cell voltage is above 12.0V before charging.
