Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Onson F007 / J10C — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh Li-ion battery for the Onson F007 and J10C cordless stick vacuums. It replaces the original cell when the vacuum no longer holds a charge or shuts off early during use. Voltage and chemistry match the original pack exactly.
- F007 and J10C compatibility: Both models run the same 14.4V motor rail and use the same connector and BMS handshake. One cell covers both platforms — no modifications needed.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the cell through charge, discharge, and motor-start cycles. The BMS handled inrush current on startup without tripping and held voltage above the cutoff threshold through full discharge.
- Dock charging caution: Remove the vacuum from the charging dock once the battery is full. Leaving it docked continuously puts the cell through a slow trickle charge loop that accelerates capacity fade over weeks of use.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when the motor draws more current than the cell can sustain at its current state of charge. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling higher current and causing voltage to sag below the motor's efficient operating range. The vacuum feels like it's losing battery when the real cause is restricted airflow amplifying the load. Clean the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery is not the fault.
Motor cuts out mid-use then recovers after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the motor sustains a high-current draw — typically from a blocked intake or thick carpet — the BMS cuts the output to protect the cell. After a short cool-down the BMS resets and the vacuum powers back on. Clear any blockage in the nozzle and filter before assuming the battery is faulty. If the cutout repeats on a clear filter, check that the cell voltage is above 12.0V before charging.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Onson F007 battery fades fast after a few months — is continuous dock charging the cause?
Yes, that is the most common cause of early capacity fade on these vacuums. Keeping the vacuum on the dock after it reaches full charge puts the cell into a repeated shallow charge cycle that degrades capacity faster than normal use. Remove the vacuum from the dock once charging is complete. Charge only when the battery is noticeably depleted.
The vacuum shuts off under heavy carpet load but restarts after I wait a moment — what is happening?
The BMS is tripping on an overcurrent spike caused by the motor straining against increased resistance. Thick carpet or a partially blocked nozzle raises current draw above the BMS threshold, which cuts power to protect the cell. Clear the filter and check the nozzle for blockages before the next use. If the cutout stops after clearing the filter, the battery is not the problem.
The replacement battery is not charging — the charger light stays off or flashes an error.
Some chargers on these vacuums expect a BMS handshake before initiating a charge cycle. If the replacement cell arrived deeply discharged, the BMS may have entered a protection state that blocks the handshake. Connect the charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes — some BMS units recover from deep discharge protection passively. If the charger still shows no response, check that the dock contacts are clean and that the cell voltage reads above 10.0V with a multimeter before assuming a fault.
