Fits Pyle PUCRC660 and PUCRC675 cordless vacuum cleaners; replaces OEM battery pack.
14.4V lithium-ion with 2600mAh capacity delivers full motor power on hardwood and carpet.
Connector slides straight into the battery bay with a locking tab that seats flush.
We bench-tested the pack on a PUCRC660 motor load; BMS held steady with no early cutoff.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously — trickle charge degrades capacity fast.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Pyle PUCRC660 / PUCRC675 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V 2600mAh Li-ion battery for the Pyle PUCRC660 and PUCRC675 cordless handheld vacuums. It slots into the same bay as the original cell and connects to the same BMS circuit. Capacity is 2600mAh (37.44Wh), matching the factory specification.

  • PUCRC660 and PUCRC675 compatibility: Both models run the same 14.4V motor rail and use an identical battery bay with the same connector pin-out. The BMS in each unit communicates on the same signal line, so one cell fits both without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the battery through charge and discharge cycles on a 14.4V motor load. The BMS held voltage within spec under sustained draw and tripped correctly when current spiked past the overcurrent threshold — then recovered cleanly on reset.
  • Dock charging habit for the PUCRC series: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock between every use. These units trickle-charge continuously when docked, which accelerates capacity fade. Charge fully, then remove from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator shows low on the PUCRC660

The motor on the PUCRC660 draws more current when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter is the most common cause. Under that extra load, pack voltage sags early even if cell capacity is fine. The vacuum's suction weakens noticeably while the LED indicator still shows a charge. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest — if suction normalises, the battery was not the problem.

Motor cuts out mid-clean and then restarts after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the motor works against a blockage or heavily soiled filter, current draw spikes past the BMS protection threshold and the circuit opens. The BMS resets automatically after a few seconds of no load, which is why the vacuum restarts on its own. Clear any blockage, clean the filter, and confirm the resting pack voltage reads at or above 14.0V before writing off the battery.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Pyle PUCRC660 suction drops noticeably but the battery light still shows charged — is the battery failing?

Not necessarily. A restricted filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which sags pack voltage early and reduces suction before the indicator catches up. Pull the filter out, clean it thoroughly, and run the vacuum again. If suction returns to normal, the battery is fine — the filter was the cause.

The replacement battery charges fully but the vacuum cuts out after a few seconds under load — what is happening?

The BMS is tripping on an overcurrent spike during motor start or under restricted airflow. This is a protection event, not a faulty battery. Check that the filter is clean and the intake is clear, then try again — the BMS resets automatically once load is removed. If the cutout repeats on a clean, unobstructed machine, verify the charger output is 14.4V and the cell rested above 14.0V before the run.

The battery on my PUCRC675 used to last much longer — it now fades quickly even after a full charge. What caused this?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of capacity fade on these vacuums. The charger trickle-charges the cell indefinitely when the unit stays docked, and repeated shallow top-up cycles degrade lithium cells faster than full charge-and-discharge cycles do. A replacement cell recovers full capacity, but remove it from the dock once the charge indicator shows full. Store the vacuum off-dock between uses to slow future fade.
