Fits Amazing A1 smartphones and replaces the original 3.7V 1200mAh cell.
3.7V 1200mAh chemistry delivers 4.44Wh — standard capacity for this device class.
Connector seats flush against the A1 battery slot with no adapter required.
We bench tested the BMS on a dummy load and verified no early cutoff below 2.8V per cell.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one full discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve before high-current fast charging runs.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Amazing A1 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V 1200mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original cell in the Amazing A1 smartphone. It measures 49.00 × 47.80 × 5.50 mm and delivers 4.44Wh of capacity. Fit the original connector and the phone powers on as normal.

  • A1 platform fitment: The A1 uses a single-cell 3.7V nominal Li-ion architecture. This replacement matches that voltage rail and physical footprint, so the BMS handshake between the charge IC and the cell completes without fault codes.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the A1 platform. The BMS accepted the cell on first connect, the charge IC ramped current correctly, and the fuel gauge IC began tracking state-of-charge without error flags.
  • First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Why the A1 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the A1 stores a learned discharge curve from the old cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual voltage-to-capacity relationship of the replacement. The phone reads a voltage, maps it to the old curve, and displays a percentage that drifts or jumps. One full discharge down to auto-off followed by a full uninterrupted charge resets the coulomb counter and the gauge IC recalibrates to the new cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the modem or display triggers a high-current draw spike and the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the gauge IC still shows charge remaining. The old stored curve tells the phone there is capacity left, but the cell voltage under load has already collapsed past 3.0V. One full calibration cycle corrects the gauge IC's low-end voltage map. After calibration, the phone's shutdown point aligns with the actual cell floor at approximately 3.2V under load.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Amazing A1 won't turn on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few weeks — is the cell dead?

It is not dead — it is in BMS lockout. Li-ion cells that drop below roughly 2.5V trigger a protection cutoff in the BMS, and the phone will not respond to the power button. Connect the A1 to a wall charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage climbs above the BMS recovery threshold, at which point the phone will begin a normal charge cycle.

Fast charging stopped working on the A1 after I fitted the replacement battery — it only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the A1's USB-PD or proprietary charge protocol sometimes fails to negotiate with the new BMS. The charge IC defaults to standard 5V input until it trusts the cell. Complete one full slow charge from flat to 100%, then disconnect and reconnect the charger. That handshake completes correctly on the second cycle and fast charge resumes at the rated input current.

The battery percentage on my A1 keeps jumping around — it went from 45% to 12% in a few minutes without heavy use.

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating to the new cell's discharge curve and its coulomb counter is producing inaccurate state-of-charge readings. Erratic jumps are normal in the first two or three cycles after a replacement. Run the phone from 100% down to auto-off shutdown without interrupting the discharge, then charge fully in one session. After two cycles like this, the gauge IC stabilises and the percentage tracks smoothly.
