Fits AMICA Aura VM7050 cordless vacuum; replaces OEM part 1191708 and BP21620H battery packs.
21.6V and 2500mAh capacity deliver full motor power on restricted airflow and carpet loads without early cutoff.
Connector slides straight onto the dock contact rails with a positive locking tab — no twisting required.
We bench-tested this cell on the VM7050's motor load; BMS held steady through sustained high-draw cycles with no thermal throttle.
Do not leave this pack on the charging dock continuously — cordless vacuum chargers apply trickle charge that degrades capacity over weeks; charge to full and remove.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

AMICA Aura VM7050 — 21.6V Li-ion Replacement Battery (1191708)

This is a 21.6V, 2500mAh lithium-ion battery pack for the AMICA Aura VM7050 cordless vacuum cleaner. It replaces OEM part numbers 1191708 and BP21620H. Voltage and cell count match the original pack exactly so the existing charger and BMS handshake remain valid.

  • VM7050 platform fit: The Aura VM7050 uses a 21.6V nominal cell stack with a proprietary connector and BMS communication line. This pack matches that voltage rail, connector pinout, and handshake protocol — the vacuum powers on and the charger recognises the pack without error codes.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the pack through charge and discharge cycles on a VM7050 unit, monitoring cell voltage balance and BMS cutoff thresholds. The protection circuit tripped correctly at undervoltage and recovered cleanly on reconnect to the charger.
  • Dock charging habit on the VM7050: Do not leave the VM7050 sitting on the charging dock continuously between uses. Cordless vacuums on permanent dock charge develop capacity fade significantly faster than those charged only when the pack is depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS expects — typically caused by a partially blocked filter or a blockage in the suction path. Under that extra load, cell voltage sags early and the BMS throttles output to protect the pack, so suction weakens even though the indicator still shows charge remaining. It is not a battery fault. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest. If suction holds steady with a clean filter, the original pack had genuine cell degradation — this replacement pack will restore normal draw at rated voltage.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and then restarting after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a loose connection. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, saturated filter, or carpet fibres jamming the brush roll — the motor pulls sustained high current and the protection circuit cuts power to prevent cell damage. The BMS resets automatically after a short cool-down, which is why the vacuum restarts on its own. Clear the blockage, check the filter, and retry. If the cutout continues with no visible blockage, check that pack voltage reads at least 21.0V under load using a multimeter at the terminal contacts.

Frequently Asked Questions

My AMICA VM7050 suction gets weak halfway through a clean even though the battery indicator isn't flashing low — is this the battery?

It can be, but check the filter first. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which causes the cell voltage to sag early and the BMS to reduce power output — suction drops while the indicator still shows charge. Clean or replace the filter and retest. If suction holds with a clean filter, the original battery had degraded cells and this replacement will restore full motor voltage.

The vacuum cuts out for a few seconds and then comes back on its own while I'm using it — what's causing that?

That is a BMS overcurrent trip. When the motor is working against a restriction — blocked nozzle, full filter, or tangled brush roll — it pulls sustained current above the protection threshold and the circuit cuts power to prevent cell damage. The pack resets automatically after a short pause, so the vacuum restarts by itself. Clear any blockage, check the filter, and retry; if the cutout repeats with no visible obstruction, measure pack voltage at the terminal — it should read no lower than 21.0V under normal load.

I've had my VM7050 for two years and the battery drains noticeably faster than it used to, even though I always keep it on the dock — could the dock be the problem?

Yes, continuous dock charging is a primary cause of capacity fade in cordless vacuums. The charger delivers a low trickle current to maintain full charge, and keeping lithium-ion cells at 100% state of charge indefinitely accelerates cell degradation over months. Replacing the pack addresses the lost capacity. Going forward, charge the new pack to full and then remove the vacuum from the dock between uses.
