Fits Amtidy A325 Mini vacuum cleaner; replaces original 14.4V battery pack.
14.4V, 2000mAh Ni-MH chemistry delivers consistent motor voltage throughout the charge cycle without voltage sag dips.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot on the handheld unit with a positive lock tab engagement.
Bench test showed stable BMS discharge under sustained motor load with no cutoff events across full depletion.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock after reaching full charge — continuous trickle charging degrades Ni-MH capacity rapidly, remove immediately when full to prevent fade.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Amtidy A325 Mini — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 2000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Amtidy A325 Mini cordless handheld vacuum. It restores suction power when the original cell has degraded or failed. Rated at 28.8Wh, it matches the voltage and chemistry of the factory-fitted pack.

  • A325 Mini fit: The A325 Mini runs a 14.4V Ni-MH chemistry pack with a specific connector orientation and BMS communication — this replacement matches that configuration. Swapping to a different voltage or chemistry will cause the charger to reject the pack or the motor controller to misread charge state.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through multiple charge and discharge passes on a 14.4V Ni-MH charger. The BMS held cutoff correctly at both ends — no thermal flag, no mid-cycle drop-out under normal suction load.
  • Dock charging behaviour on the A325 Mini: Do not leave the A325 Mini sitting on the charging dock continuously. Ni-MH cells take damage from sustained trickle charge — charge to full, then remove from the dock. Repeated overnight dock charging is one of the fastest ways to shorten this pack's cycle life.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens on the A325 Mini when a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated. The increased load causes voltage to sag across the Ni-MH cell before the charge indicator catches up. The vacuum feels underpowered, but the battery is not necessarily the cause. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers, the cell is fine.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a flat battery. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, clogged filter, or sustained carpet load — current draw spikes and the BMS cuts the circuit to protect the cell. The motor recovers after a short pause because the BMS resets once current demand drops. Clear the blockage or filter restriction before resuming; if the trip keeps repeating on an unblocked vacuum, the cell may no longer hold enough charge to sustain motor-start current without tripping.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Amtidy A325 Mini loses suction halfway through a clean but the battery light still shows charged — is the battery failing?

Not necessarily. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to pull more current than rated, which causes voltage to sag on the Ni-MH cell even when charge state looks normal. Clean the filter first — if suction returns to full strength, the pack is fine. If suction stays weak with a clean filter and a fully charged new cell, check the nozzle and brush chamber for a partial blockage.

The A325 Mini motor cuts out for a few seconds during heavy use, then starts again on its own — what's causing that?

That is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike, not the battery going flat. Sustained restricted suction — thick carpet, blocked filter, jammed brush — drives current above the cell's rated discharge limit and the BMS cuts the circuit. It resets once the load drops, which is why the motor restarts on its own. Clear any restriction and check the filter; if the trip repeats on a clean, unblocked vacuum, the cell capacity has dropped low enough that motor-start current alone is triggering the cutoff.

My new replacement battery isn't holding charge as well as expected after only a few weeks — I leave it on the dock between uses.

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade in Ni-MH cordless vacuum packs. The charger delivers a low trickle current when the pack is full, and Ni-MH chemistry degrades faster under sustained trickle charge than lithium chemistry does. Charge the pack fully, then remove it from the dock — only return it to the dock when it needs charging again. This single change has the largest impact on how many full cycles the pack retains.
