Fits Angelcare AC1300, AC1300-D, and AC1320 parent units; replaces OEM part 1ICP5/46/45.
3.7V, 800mAh lithium polymer cell delivers sufficient capacity for overnight monitoring cycles on the parent unit.
Connector seats flush into the battery slot with no locking tab; polarity marked on housing for correct insertion.
We bench-tested this cell in an AC1300 parent unit; the BMS accepted the charge without fault codes and voltage held steady across eight-hour monitoring windows.
After battery installation, re-pair the parent unit with the camera unit using the sync buttons — the monitor loses its wireless connection after complete power loss.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Angelcare AC1300 Series — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (1ICP5/46/45)

This 3.7V, 800mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the OEM part 1ICP5/46/45 in the Angelcare AC1300 parent unit. It fits the AC1300, AC1300-D, and AC1320 monitor variants. The parent unit is the handheld display caregivers carry around the home while the camera unit stays in the nursery.

  • AC1300, AC1300-D, and AC1320 compatibility: All three variants share the same parent unit housing, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — that is why one cell fits across the range. Swapping between models does not require any firmware change or reconfiguration.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the AC1300 parent unit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, completed a full charge cycle, and held voltage under the screen-on and wireless-active load simultaneously.
  • Wireless re-pair after swap: The AC1300 parent unit loses its link to the camera unit when battery power drops to zero during a swap. After fitting this battery, charge the unit fully before powering on, then follow the pairing sequence in your manual to restore the wireless connection to the nursery camera.

Why the AC1300 parent unit drains faster overnight with screen active

The AC1300 parent unit runs its display, audio receiver, and wireless radio simultaneously during overnight monitoring. That combined load draws significantly more current than standby mode. The 800mAh cell in this unit was sized by Angelcare for typical monitoring use with the screen timeout enabled. Leaving the screen permanently on through the night is a sustained high-draw condition — enable the screen timeout function in the monitor settings to bring overnight current draw back within the cell's rated discharge curve.

Parent unit shows reduced range after a battery replacement

The AC1300's wireless radio output is voltage-sensitive — at low state of charge, the radio transmits at reduced power, and the link to the camera unit becomes unstable or drops out at distances that previously worked fine. This is not a pairing fault or a defective cell. Charge the parent unit fully before testing range. A fully charged cell sits at approximately 4.2V; test signal strength only once the unit has completed a full charge cycle at that voltage.

Frequently Asked Questions

My AC1300 parent unit won't connect to the camera after I replaced the battery — did I fit the wrong one?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The AC1300 parent unit drops its wireless pairing data when power hits zero during a swap — it has nothing to do with which battery you fitted. Power the unit on fully, let it complete its boot sequence, then run the camera pairing procedure from the settings menu as described in your manual.

The night vision on the nursery camera stopped working after I swapped the parent unit battery — what happened?

Night vision is driven by the camera unit, not the parent unit, but the IR LEDs require a stable, fully established wireless link to activate. If the parent unit battery is not yet fully charged, the radio runs at reduced output and the link can be too weak to negotiate the IR mode handshake. Charge the parent unit to 4.2V before testing — a partial charge is the most common cause of this symptom.

The AC1300 parent unit battery icon shows full but the unit shuts off after a short time — why?

This happens when a deeply discharged or degraded cell loses voltage quickly under load even though the resting voltage reads high enough to show a full icon. The battery management system reads resting voltage, not load voltage, so the display looks correct until the radio and screen pull current and the cell collapses. Leave the unit on charge for a full uninterrupted cycle — if the behaviour repeats after a complete charge, the cell has been deep-discharged past recovery and the replacement battery you just fitted should be assessed for whether it was stored discharged before shipping.
