Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BBK VIVO iQOO 3 Series — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B-K7)
This is a 3.85V, 4400mAh (16.94Wh) Li-Polymer replacement battery for the VIVO iQOO 3, iQOO 3 5G, and V1955 smartphones. It uses OEM part number B-K7 and matches the original cell's dimensions at 78.60 × 63.00 × 5.60mm. It slots into the same position as the factory cell with no modification to the housing.
- iQOO 3 and iQOO 3 5G compatibility: Both variants share the same physical cell bay, voltage rail, and BMS connector pinout. The B-K7 part number covers the full iQOO 3 lineup because the charge IC and fuel gauge reference the same 3.85V nominal chemistry across all V1955 board revisions.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on iQOO 3 hardware and confirmed the BMS accepted the cell without triggering an over-voltage or under-voltage cutoff. The charge IC stepped through trickle, constant-current, and constant-voltage phases without interruption.
- First-cycle fuel gauge reset: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC on the iQOO 3 is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — letting it map the new cell at low current first prevents the coulomb counter from throwing inaccurate percentage readings from day one.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the iQOO 3 after a cell swap
This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve from the degraded original cell. When the new cell hits a voltage point the old curve maps to 20–30%, the system incorrectly reads imminent cutoff and shuts down — even though real capacity remains. The fix is one full uninterrupted discharge from 100% to automatic shutdown, followed by a full charge without interruption. After that cycle, the coulomb counter resets its reference and the percentage readings stabilise.
USB-PD or proprietary fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement
On the first charge after a cell swap, the iQOO 3's charge IC may stay in standard 5V charging mode and refuse to negotiate a higher voltage with the adapter. This is a BMS handshake behaviour — the charge controller holds back until it confirms the new cell's internal resistance profile falls within expected parameters. Run that first cycle on standard charge through a basic 5V USB source. On the second cycle, fast charging typically resumes without any further steps.

Frequently Asked Questions
My iQOO 3 keeps shutting off at around 25% even though the new battery was just installed — what's happening?
The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to your old, degraded cell's voltage curve. When the new cell reaches the voltage point the old curve maps to roughly 25%, the phone reads it as near-empty and cuts power — even though charge remains. Run one full discharge from 100% down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interrupting. That single cycle re-anchors the coulomb counter to the new cell and the early shutdowns stop.
The battery percentage on my iQOO 3 is jumping around erratically after I swapped the cell — is the new battery faulty?
It is not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge model from the original battery, and until it maps the new cell's actual curve, the percentage readings are unreliable. Do not top up the charge mid-cycle. Let the phone discharge fully to auto-shutdown once, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The gauge recalibrates during that cycle and the percentage stabilises from there.
My iQOO 3 feels noticeably warm near the back during the first few charges with the new battery — should I stop charging?
Mild warmth on the first two or three charge cycles is normal. A new Li-Polymer cell has slightly higher internal impedance before it is conditioned, which causes the charge IC to dissipate a little more heat than usual during the constant-current phase. Keep the phone out of its case for the first two cycles to allow heat to dissipate freely. If the back becomes hot to the touch — above roughly 45°C — disconnect the charger and check that you are using the original cable and adapter.
