Fits BenQ DC X600 and X600 compact cameras using original DLI-102 battery slot.
3.7V and 850mAh capacity deliver standard operating time for photo and video capture cycles.
Connector slides straight into camera battery compartment with single locking tab on left side.
We bench-tested the cell in DC X600 body and BMS accepted charge handshake without fault codes.
On first use, run one full charge cycle in the camera body before heavy shooting — BenQ firmware needs that initial cycle to map battery-remaining display accurately.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BenQ DC X600 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (DLI-102)

This 3.7V, 850mAh Li-ion cell replaces the DLI-102 battery in the BenQ DC X600 compact digital camera. It slots directly into the same battery bay and connects to the same contacts the original cell uses. Capacity is 850mAh — identical to the factory specification.

  • DC X600 fit: The X600 and its DC X600 variant share the same battery compartment geometry and contact layout. Both draw from the same 3.7V rail, so one cell covers either body without a wiring or connector difference.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on compatible hardware. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, and voltage held steady across the discharge curve under both still and video draw.
  • First-install charge cycle on the X600: On first use, run one full charge through the camera body or OEM charger before shooting. The X600's battery-remaining indicator calibrates its threshold map from that initial cycle — skipping it can cause the display to read inaccurately from the first frame.

Battery percentage jumping erratically on the X600 display

The X600 maps its battery indicator to a fixed set of voltage thresholds tuned to the original cell's discharge curve. A new replacement cell may discharge along a slightly different curve, especially in the first few cycles. This causes the indicator to skip segments or jump backwards as voltage crosses those thresholds at unexpected points. After two or three full charge-discharge cycles, the BMS reading stabilises and the display tracks more accurately.

A new Li-ion cell can arrive at a storage charge of around 3.5–3.6V — below the X600's low-battery cutoff threshold, which typically sits near 3.6V. The camera interprets this as a depleted cell and may refuse to power on or display a dead-battery icon immediately. The fix is to place the cell in the OEM charger or camera body and run one full charge to 4.2V before attempting to shoot.

Frequently Asked Questions

My BenQ X600 shows no battery or won't power on with the new DLI-102 cell installed — is the battery dead?

Most likely not. New Li-ion cells ship at storage voltage, often around 3.5V, which can fall at or below the X600's power-on threshold. The camera reads this as an empty or absent cell. Place the battery in an OEM-compatible charger or in the camera body and charge it fully to 4.2V before trying to power on — that resolves it in almost every case.

The battery percentage on my X600 is jumping around — it dropped from 80% to 20% in a few shots and then climbed back up.

The X600's indicator maps to fixed voltage points on the discharge curve calibrated to the original cell. A replacement cell discharges along a curve that doesn't align perfectly with those points until it has been cycled. Run two or three complete charge-discharge cycles and the readings will track more consistently across the range.

My X600 gets noticeably warm during video recording and the battery drains faster than expected — is something wrong with the cell?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. Video mode on the X600 combines sensor readout, image processing, and display output into continuous simultaneous draw — significantly higher than still shooting. That combined load generates heat in both the camera body and the cell. Stay below 3.4V on the discharge before recharging; allowing the cell to drop further under sustained video draw accelerates capacity fade over time.
