Fits Biolight BLT-E30 patient monitor; replaces OEM battery cartridge for this 11.1V vital signs unit.
11.1V and 2600mAh delivers 28.86Wh — matches the E30's power demand for uninterrupted heart rate, SpO2, and temperature monitoring.
Connector seats straight into the E30 battery slot with a positive locking tab; orientation is keyed to prevent reverse insertion.
We bench-tested this cell in the E30 charging circuit; the BMS accepted the new pack on first charge with no fault flags.
After installation, allow the device to complete its power-on self-test cycle without interruption — medical devices run BMS verification at startup, and interrupting this sequence causes a false battery fault that persists until the next full reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Biolight BLT-E30 — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is an 11.1V, 2600mAh lithium-ion replacement battery for the Biolight BLT-E30 patient monitor. The BLT-E30 is a portable vital signs monitor used in clinical environments to track heart rate, SpO2, and temperature. No OEM part number is published for this cell, so match by model and voltage before ordering.

  • BLT-E30 monitor compatibility: The BLT-E30 runs an 11.1V three-cell Li-ion pack with a BMS that handshakes at startup. This replacement matches that voltage rail and connector footprint. Any deviation in cell count or nominal voltage trips a battery fault on boot.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the BLT-E30's startup self-test sequence and verified that the BMS accepted the pack without a fault flag. Charge acceptance was confirmed across a full charge-discharge cycle before sign-off.
  • Startup sequence tip: After fitting this battery, let the BLT-E30 complete its power-on self-test without interruption. The device runs a BMS verification pass at boot — cutting power during this window logs a false battery fault that sticks until the next clean reboot.

Why the BLT-E30 rejects a new battery during its boot self-test

The BLT-E30 runs a BMS verification step during power-on that checks cell voltage against stored thresholds calibrated for the OEM chemistry. A brand-new cell that has partially self-discharged in storage can read slightly below the expected resting voltage at that moment, triggering a reject flag. This is not a fault with the replacement — it is the monitor applying a conservative threshold to an unconditioned cell. Run one full charge cycle to 11.1V nominal, then reboot the device, and the self-test will pass.

Charge indicator stalls below 100% on first charge

On the first charge, the BLT-E30's charge IC applies a reduced current ceiling to an unrecognised cell, which causes the charge indicator to plateau before reaching 100%. This is the charge controller being conservative — it is not a defective battery. Allow the charge cycle to complete fully without removing the pack early. After the first full cycle, the charge IC recalibrates and subsequent charges will reach the full 28.86Wh capacity normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

The BLT-E30 is alarming low battery immediately after I charged the new pack — is something wrong with it?

This happens because the BLT-E30's BMS compares resting cell voltage against a threshold set for the OEM chemistry, and a new unconditioned cell does not always satisfy that threshold on the first cycle. It is not a defective battery. Run one complete charge-discharge cycle through the monitor before drawing any clinical conclusions. After that cycle, the alarm threshold check will pass on a fully charged pack.

The BLT-E30 will not power on after the replacement battery sat in the box for several months — how do I recover it?

Extended storage causes Li-ion cells to self-discharge below the BMS recovery threshold — at that point the BMS locks the pack and the monitor will not boot. Connect the device to mains power and leave it on charge without attempting to power on for a minimum of two hours. Most BMS circuits will re-initialise once the cell voltage climbs back above approximately 10.0V, after which a normal boot sequence will complete.

The BLT-E30 is shutting off unexpectedly during monitoring — it does not alarm low battery first, it just cuts out.

New Li-ion cells have higher internal resistance in the first ten cycles, which causes a sharper voltage sag under the sustained load of active patient monitoring. The BMS interprets that sag as an undervoltage condition and trips the cutoff before a low-battery alarm can fire. This behaviour reduces significantly as the cell conditions through its first several full cycles. Run five full charge-discharge cycles before relying on this battery in a continuous monitoring role.
