Fits BLU ADVANCE 4.0 L2 (A030) and replaces OEM battery C535143120T.
3.7V 1200mAh cell delivers the same capacity as original; capacity measured in milliamp-hours, watt-hours tell you energy density per charge cycle.
Connector clips into the battery slot; tabs align vertically against the phone's internal contact pads with no locking mechanism.
Bench testing showed the BMS accepted full charge on first cycle; fuel gauge IC began recalibrating voltage curve on discharge.
After installation, complete one full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging enabled — this lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's voltage curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU ADVANCE 4.0 L2 / A030 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (C535143120T)

This is a 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion cell for the BLU ADVANCE 4.0 L2 and A030 smartphones. It replaces part number C535143120T and fits the original battery compartment. Capacity figures come from product data — 1200mAh / 4.44Wh.

  • ADVANCE 4.0 L2 and A030 fitment: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and charge IC interface. The C535143120T cell communicates with the same fuel gauge IC across both variants, so one cell covers the full range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the ADVANCE 4.0 L2 platform and confirmed the BMS handshake, cutoff thresholds, and charge termination behaviour all matched OEM parameters.
  • First-cycle recalibration tip: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean reference curve against the new cell before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Why the ADVANCE 4.0 L2 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the ADVANCE 4.0 L2 stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual voltage-to-capacity relationship of the replacement. The phone reads voltage but maps it against the old model, so 40% on screen might actually be 55% or 25%. One complete discharge down to automatic cutoff, followed by a full charge, forces the IC to rewrite its reference curve against the new cell. After that cycle, percentage readout stabilises.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff, not a capacity problem. Under modem activity or screen-on load, the cell voltage drops sharply and hits the BMS undervoltage cutoff before the fuel gauge registers empty. It typically happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell curve. Run one full discharge cycle without interruption — let the phone shut itself off naturally, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. If shutdowns persist past two full cycles, check that the cell resting voltage is above 3.6V before installation.

Frequently Asked Questions

The phone powered off by itself at around 25% and now won't turn back on — is the new battery dead?

It is almost certainly a BMS lockout after a voltage cliff shutdown, not a failed cell. When the phone cuts off abruptly under load, the cell voltage can drop below 3.0V and the BMS locks out to prevent damage. Plug in the charger and leave it connected for at least 20 minutes before attempting to power on — the charge IC needs to trickle enough current in to bring the cell above the BMS recovery threshold of roughly 3.0V per cell before a normal boot sequence can start.

After fitting this battery, the OS percentage jumps around — it shows 60%, then drops to 43%, then climbs back up without charging.

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve and has not yet built a stable reference model. This is normal for the first one to two cycles after a cell swap. Run the phone down to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% in a single uninterrupted session. Erratic percentage readings typically settle after that first complete cycle once the coulomb counter has a full sweep of data from the new cell.

Fast charging stopped working the moment I put this battery in — the phone only trickle charges now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on the ADVANCE 4.0 L2 may default to a conservative constant-current profile while it evaluates the new cell's impedance. This is a protective behaviour, not a fault. Charge the phone fully once at this reduced rate, then disconnect and reconnect the charger — fast charge protocol negotiation typically resumes from the second session onward once the IC has logged a baseline charge profile against the new cell.
